Vienna.

I don't know the middle name or any details. What do you think? The jury's still out for me. I think it is sort of pretty, although I would never have thought of it.

One of my students is named Vienna. Her middle name is Renae. I think it's pretty, but probably wouldn't use it, myself.

The first time I heard of that name was on an episode of Law & Order. It would be a beautiful name if there wasnt a thing called Vienna sausage.

I think it's pretty, and I didn't immediately think of Vienna sausage, but I'm guessing kids on the playground would think of that, especially if little Vienna was a bit on the chubby side. :(

I'd never even heard of a vienna sausage until I was 30 something and only then because it was in a gift basket I received. I immediately thought of Austria. :)

The very first thing I thought of was Austria too. Then I remembered my niece's friend -- Vidalia :dead: like the onion

I'm not crazy about it. I live near a town called Vienna so that's what I thought of when I heard the name.

That's what I did too, Bev - "Hitler marching into Vienna!" What can I say, I'm a history geek.

Hmmm...
Don't you think it is funny that to call kids after names of some places sounds perfectly normal while others sound so strange?
Vienna would nOT be my choice but hey- I named my daughter Shoham and there is a town called Shoham in Israel.
Naming is such a personal issue. Maybe it is her favorite place or she liked the sound?

I immediately thought of Vienna, Austria. Some place names are okay, but for some reason, I'm not a big fan of this one. I also thought of the sausage!
