Herbal supplements for Ad/HD

I'm looking into herbal supplements for Jack for his ADHD. I'm not ready to medicate him and DH is DEAD SET against it. Jack did really well in K academically, but I'm a little worried about 1st grade. My friend, whose DH has ADD gave me something called Focus for Children. It has Phosphatidylserine, griffonia, DMAE, L-tyrosine and Grape Seed extract. I have no idea what any of this is and I'm starting to do research and wondering if anyone has experience?

Here's an old thread I dug up with the supplements, diet modification etc we've used with Jacob. We've had GREAT success with it.
