Siding??

We are debating siding vs painting. Right now, we have aluminum siding on 3 sides of our house and the back is still just wood. We aren't planning on staying in this house for more than 2 more years, so it's not really a longevity type of question.

Either one we do, we'll be doing ourselves. One of our friends paints houses on the side and said he'd do it for the cost of the paint. As for siding, several people have offered to help us put it up.

But what all do I have to buy? How hard is it to do? Does it already come in the color I want? Where do I buy siding?

Well if you are planning on selling in 2 years I would recommend putting side on the whole house... could be a + on when you want to sell.

I think Sears offer a service. I know there a lot of companies who put it on, not sure where you can just buy it though.
