I'm seething about this..I need to sometimes let things go thus why I'm asking for advice..

we live directly infront of a park/parking lot..last night I observed a car pull up and then proceed to throw garbage ( papers) from the car I open the front door and start yelling at them..dh is in the garage and goes over and makes the driver get out and pick the stuff up..fine..
we go back inside but last night we made a last minute/late drug store run when we notice paper garbage on the road infront of our house :grr: now I didn't see them throw it out but it's obvious to me they did it.. I got the licence plate number..should I call the police and see if they will send this guy a warning or just let it go..I'm soooo angry right now!

I think in that instance because you didn't physically witness them doing it that you can't do anything. :dunno:

So annoying though! :gah:

Also, just to add, I would be worried about retaliation to you or your house being that it would be obvious you were the guys that complained.

I am kinda on the fense. I agree with Deb, I would be worried about retaliation but then again..YOu did witness them doing it in the park. You can just call about that situation and see what the police say. Honestly you have had so much trouble with that park. They need to patrol your area so much more. I am sorry you deal with all that crap

Thanks Jayne and Deb :) yeah we worry about retaliation too that's why I got his plate in the first place and I freaked out not even thinking twice at the time about consiquences(sp?) I once caught a guy taking a piss out there when there was a porta potty and yelled out that I had his plate number( I didn't) and he high tailed it  I'm still debating..dh said he thinks he knows they live around here ( up the road) I'm half tempted to pick the shit up,drive till I find the house throw it in their driveway!!..see told ya I was mad :heee:

Maybe it has his address on it. People are dumb like that

I'd probably let it go :dunno: Seeming as you yelled at him (assuming it was the same guy?) I would also be worried about retaliation.

Why would someone do that though? I don't understand how freaking hard it is to put your rubbish in a bin
