I'm calling to get Josh a dr appt today and we'll probably do some mowing. The grass is HIGH!! Tonight we're grilling out!!!! I've got leftover vodka slush too! LOL!!
Tomorrow Josh has baseball from 10-12 and then I think we're going to get out the pool and porch furniture. DH is going to an arena football game so we might go shop so Josh can use his birthday money and maybe see the TMNT movie.
Sunday no plans at the moment!

Aubrey's birthday is Sunday and she wants to go to what she called a "fine restaurant." When she said that, we all were interested in hearing what that might be... turns out it's McDonalds. :giggle: We'll do cake and presents too.
So Saturday will involve buying cake, presents, and stuff for her party next weekend. :)

Today I am going shopping all day with my friend Kari and then we will hang out at her house tonight and let the kids play outside.
Saturday we don't have any formal plans. Dan is helping my dad with some stuff at his storage units but I am not sure what. We might take Geoff and Stacy out for Stacy's birthday.
Sunday is Youth Sunday at our church. Tylor has a solo. This marks the end of Presby's for him. I am sad to see him end with it but he will go on to logos.
It is supposed to be in the 60's and upper 50's for the next 10 days !!!!

TGIF!!! This has been a long week!
We actually have a fun weekend on tap...tonight we're going to Costco b/c I'm out of about everything and I've been putting off going all week. I'm going to feed the kids first, and Scott and I will have a "date" after they go to bed - we'll eat dinner late, have some wine and maybe watch a movie...(or get caught up on last night's shows since I worked).
Tomorrow we have swimming lessons in the morning, then we desperately need to do some spring cleaning. I'm hoping that swimming will tired the kiddos out and we can actually get a nap out of Jackson b/c it is much easier to clean when he's asleep. Tomorrow night we're going to a playgroup party. It should be fun, I'm interested in having Scott meet everyone, especially the Dads.
Sunday it is supposed to be nice so I want to do something outside. Sunday afternoon we have a 3 Y.O. birthday party to attend, then Sunday night I'm going out for dinner with people from work as a good-bye to my boss who is moving to Vegas.

I took Katie swimming today and she's upstairs "relaxing." :giggle: My lawn seriously needs to be mowed, but our landlord is getting it fixed so we're here with high grass weeds. It is supposed to be close to 80 this weekend, I wanted to go to Busch Gardens, but Reed has to work on Saturday and then babysit that soldier on Sunday (this should be his last weekend doing that though :woo: ). So, Katie and I will do some gardening around the house and I'll probably weed whack the high stuff.

I have a horrid cold, no clue where it came from as I'm not sure I've ever gotten sick before Janelle (she catches everything)...couple that with bedrest, and I'll probably just spend a lot of time asleep.
Last week DH bought me paper mario for game cube, and that kept me entertained and busy for about 6 days, but I beat it so it's boring now...he's going to try and find the sequal for the Wii today...it came out last wednesday, but we have no idea how popular it is.

Today after picking up Eliot we're gonna go look at swingsets & then we might go to the downtown area for the Main Street Art Festival. There is usually extreme bad weather forecast for this event so everybody is excited this year b/c the forecast is for sunny warm weather
Tomorrow, Eliot has two t-ball games, one is a makeup game for a rained out game missed a couple of weeks ago.
I have a lot of laundry to get done this weekend and sometime this weekend I would like to find some bluebonnets to get the boys pic taken with them.

Our yard is in serious need of mowing too, Melissa. I had three guys come out this week to give estimates. #1 said the yard is too big and he wouldn't be able to do it. #2 said he'd charge £175 initially (because it's out of control) and £85 thereafter. #3 said £15 an hour, for a total of £60. But I'm a little afraid I misunderstood and he meant £50 an hour. I need to call to clarify!!

Hi all! I am going to my goddaughter's dance recital tonight. I hope it's not too long, but it's a small school so I don't think it will be. The idea of sitting with my friend's crazy in-laws doesn't thrill me (I'm sure I'll be stuck sitting with them like I do every year), but such is life.
I'm taking Sarah to dance class tomorrow. Not sure how that's going to go. It's just a trial and we'll see what happens. If she freaks out or isn't ready, that's fine. I'm hoping to enroll her this summer, but a lot of that will depend on how she does tomorrow in class. I'm not positive she's ready.
Other than that, no weekend plans. It's supposed to be gorgeous so I think we'll spend a lot of time outside!

YIKES!!! :errr:
I called our landlord and he's bringing the lawnmower this weekend. :woo: I'm mostly worried about snakes in the backyard than anything else. A neighbor killed a copperhead last year, so we've been on the look out since.

#1 sounds like a tosser! Too big? What was he going to use, a knife and fork?
It's 7am Saturday here. And of course I'm up with the boys while Alex, who got home from a business trip last night, still sleeps. Of course it's so exhausting staying in a flash hotel and eating out and socialising, I can see why he needs the sleepin more then I do  x eleventy billion!
This weekend marks the end of the school holidays so all our activities start back up today. Emily has dance class this afternoon and Alex is taking Harry to a car show. I'm pushing for him to take Sam as well as I'm in desperate need of a break. Tomorrow Harry has football practice in the morning and we have a joint 7 & 5 yr old party to go to. Alex is taking Harry to a football game in the afternoon.

Sarah did okay in dance class. I sat in the room with her and she sat in my lap at first, and then she walked around the room and looked at herself in the mirror. She was pretty happy the whole time, which was nice. She did far better than I expected. That said, I don't think I'm enrolling her this summer. She isn't quite ready yet, and I think she needs a little more time in her music and movement class (run by EI) before I put her in a dance class. I might enroll her this fall if I think she is ready. If not, then next summer I'm sure she'll be ready.

It's a relaxing weekend here; yesterday Caroline had off school so we went to visit my mom. Today James and Caroline went out to run some errands (including UPSing my scrap case for the retreat next weekend - woohoo! :cheer: ) and have lunch and maybe hit a park. I went to the library and the card store and got a soda for my Coke craving, and am about to make myself a salad for lunch. Tomorrow is supposed to be even nicer, and I think Caroline and I are going to hear her "boyfriend" Spencer sing with the county children's choir.

We're about an hour and a half away from our t-ball games afternoon... practice, game, run for a bite to eat, 2nd game, home, bath, collapse :faint: I know I won't be the one practicing & playing the game but I will be chasing around a little 2 yr old who won't sit still for long!
