Do you consider yourself a worrier?
Do you find yourself worrying or playing out crazy scenarios in your mind while laying in bed at night?
What are your recurrent themes?
Does it interfere in your sleep?
What do you do to stop the thoughts?

Do you consider yourself a worrier? Yes, to some extents, I am.
Do you find yourself worrying or playing out crazy scenarios in your mind while laying in bed at night? Not so much anymore
What are your recurrent themes? N/A
Does it interfere in your sleep? No, cause currently I take prescribed sleeping pills to help me during this difficult time (divorce from hell)
What do you do to stop the thoughts? Before I started taking sleeping aids again, I used to do this thing that I learned in therapy.
I had a chosen word that I basically would say over and over, and choose a relaxing scene in my mind.
I also did a mental yoga, where I focused on my breathing.
Both worked, until I was broadsided in my divorce. Even still, when I find my thoughts spiralling out of control, I use the chosen word and say it over and over, while thinking of my relaxing scene. Helps me to maintain composure.
I'm also a HUGE advocate of aromatherapy. I wash my sheets in lavendar detergent and sometimes just the smell calms me and soothes me.

What do you do to stop the thoughts? I try to think of something else and also try to be logical and go through all of the reasons that what I'm worried about won't happen.

Do you consider yourself a worrier? Yes.
Do you find yourself worrying or playing out crazy scenarios in your mind while laying in bed at night? Yes.
What are your recurrent themes? Something happening to the kids (house catching fire/drowning), terrorist/war, thinking about what would happen to my kids if something happened to me.
Does it interfere in your sleep? At times but lately I'm so sleepy I go straight to sleep
What do you do to stop the thoughts? Sometime I get up and do other things to get my mind off of it. Or I think of a recent dream and try to recall the details and sometime that helps me go to sleep.
