For me I believe it would have to be Church Choir or Bells. I have been in the church choir (In some age group) since I was 3 years old..so 27 years!. I only took a break from it for 3 months just before having Alyssa. I love to sing and really church choir is my whole foundation. I am seriously the only one under 45 in the whole darn adult choir aside from the occasional drop ins and well..I DON"T CARE
Church Bells I have been ringing since I was in 4th grade so almost 21 years. I still do it and frankly..it is only because I feel obligated. I used to love it but it is really gotten bad (Some ringers really just don't seem to want to learn) and now I just do it because I don't want to dissappoint anyone. Especially the Director who has always been there. :dunno:

As far as current things, I think I'd have to go with my book club (Boovie). We started meeting almost 6 years ago and have been consistently meeting once a month, with the same 5 (at first 6) women. It is the one time a month I can guarantee that I have time out by myself. The theme for all of us has been that it is a no-stress zone with good food, good friends and good conversation. How could it not be great?
In that time, we've had 4 children, 3 miscarraiges, 3 marriages, 1 diagnosis of autism, 1 hystorectomy & oophrectomy, 1 masters degree, and so many other things. It has been amazing to have gone through these changes with this bunch of women. (feeling a little nostalgic because I think there is a good chance that it is coming to an end because 1 of the remaining 5 of us is planning to leave  )

Dance classes. My grandmother taught me when I was 3 1/2 and then I started at a regular dance school at age 4. I continued until I was 20 and then I stopped due to being way too busy with college. Then I gained a lot of weight and was too embarrassed to get into a leotard and tights, especially with my teacher at the time being of the old thoughts that ballerinas need to be stick thin. I lost the weight and got back into it a few months before I turned 25. I've since switched schools again, but I've been into it ever since. I even danced through my entire pregnancy with Sarah (I was in class 6 days before I delivered her). I'm in a great school now with great teachers and I have no intention of stopping!
ETA: I have always done ballet, and that is all I am doing now. I also took tap from age 4 1/2 through 16 plus a semester in my sophomore year in college. I took jazz from age 7 through 20, lyrical in my teen years, and I even did a little bit of Israeli dance in high school and early college because the dance school I attended had a large population of Jewish students. If I had the time/money I'd be back into tap as well, and probably jazz. But I don't have that kind of time or money. :(

My things aren't "group" things...I've been designing tatoos for about 6yrs now (although most of them don't even make it out of the house let alone into a tat parlour) its just something that I love to do. I've also been playing music since I was a young kid. By playing music I mean actually learning an instrument. Right now I only have my saxaphone (gave my flute to a friend's daughter for a year as a trial to see if she was serious about playing or not) but I can play just about any instrument you can think of. I'm even thinking of joining the Legion Band here...I crave the challenge and structure of being in a band again.

My computer baseball league. I've been in it for 16 years with the same core group of guys. A couple of guys started it with an ad in a hobby magazine using a BBS, back before anyone knew what an Internet was. We've gotten together all around the country, including Boston, Chicago, Columbus, Cincinnatti, Nashville, Vegas and Orlando (about 5 or 6 times there). I went to some of their weddings, some of them came to mine.

Music, I've been playing since I was in 4th grade and it has been extremely hard to keep up with it. In high school my guidance counselor tried to convince me to drop out of band in 10th grade (so I could have a lunch period  ) because "where will I go in music?" When I was in college I was basically told that I barely got in and I wouldn't have if there had been other bassoonists in the department. After I was told that, my stubbornness made me work harder to prove them wrong, and I did. I'm in the middle of my master's degree (hence my siggy right now), I teach privately, and I'm going back to teaching music full-time in the Fall of 2008.

Probably my current job. Even though I have been on/off again job hunting for the last two years. I have been here for 4 years now. The pay and benefits are great aside from the crappy commute so that's why I am still here.

Music for me too. WHile I don't play as much as I used to I will pick up my flute now and again and even play in the faculty music ensemble for concerts at school. I miss those days of marching band where you were on the field from late August until December for hours at a time!
