What is the last kind thing you did for someone..Other then family, out of the goodness of your heart?

We watch the houses of our neighbors when they go away for the weekends...we also ordered a kitchen table/chairs on our Brick card for our neighbors b/c they don't have good credit, and they're paying us back so much $ per month. I also send all the clothes that are too small on the boys to a friend who's got a little boy of her own.

Last week when it was really cold I went to have my van washed at Mike's Car Wash and stopped at Starbucks to buy hot chocolate for the guys who were outside at the wash. They just looked frozen! (and I wanted a white mocha)
They washed my van for free, and gave me a coupon for a free wash on my next visit

The same weekend that we moved into our house (2 weeks ago) I took my gma and dad in. After the car accident it just wasn't possible for either of them to go home to an empty house, plus they both still need some help and gma doesn't drive.. dad cannot drive right now.. so for a while they're here. It's been ok though, I'm kinda enjoyingthem being here, especially my dad.

One of my classmates got a bad grade on his homework assignment and I spent two hours going over it with him, chord by chord, explaining why certain chords go certain ways. He really appreciated it, this is something that really should have been done by our facilitator.

Atleast once a week I drive a coworker home, I don't have to really, her son or husband could come and pick her up but since I go home that way anyway it saves them from getting up at 5am to get her.. it's only since she's had eye surgery( she's not supposed to drive at night for 6+ months)

You would be my hero. When one of James' birds died, I made him get up out of bed sick to death with the flu because I just couldn't stomach the idea of touching the dead bird.

Cooked dinner for one of my fellow MOPS & her family after she had surgery. Oh and got my neighbor who has a little 4mo old baby some pedialyte when the baby was sick last week & her hubby was at work so she didn't have to leave the house with a sick baby.

I hosted Easter lunch for my whole entire extended family because everyone was arguing over it and I wanted to make everything peaceful again for everyone. It exhausted the hell out of me and I could have done with out it, but it was good to have everyone smiling.

Yesterday, on the way home from a picnic at a local park, I opened up my car window and gave a panhandler who was holding a "hungry" sign a yogurt and a bag of grapes that we hadn't touched. Not sure if that's what he was looking for, but he thanked me.

Man, I'm just not very nice. :bawl: I am having a hard time thinking of something and that is pathetic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The only thing I can think of is I let a guy with three items go ahead of me at the grocery store the other day. That's lame.
A lot of you have done some really wonderful things!!

One of my students and his mom and sister had been living at the homeless shelter since July. They got an apartment a few weeks ago, and I loaded up my truck with a desk, 2 chairs, blankets, etc. and dropped it off. It felt good.
