What did you get for Easter?

We all know the kids got stuff..but did you get anything?

Nope, nothing.

Nothing. We don't really do Easter baskets, but the kids got some stuff from my MIL. My birthday was a week before, so I just got some money for that.

I bought myself two bags of dark chocolate Cadbury eggs. :) And my mom and dad gave me a pretty necklace.

I gave the grown-ups some candy. That's it! I think I may treat myself to something since I've been depressed about how Easter turned out.

My friend's son (3.5 yo) asked her yesterday why the Easter Bunny didn't bring her anything, when he and his brother had baskets full of stuff. :lol: How thoughtful was that? :love:

Keith and Aaron got me a card and a book. Keith also bought me some dark chocolate candies. :)

MIL actually gave me a basket with flowers which was unexpected but thoughtful

Same here. We don't celebrate easter here (well religious aspect, obviously). We just use it as an excuse to buy candy. :lol2:

Same here. :lol: Well, I see Easter as a celebration of spring and growth and the return of the tweety birds. :lol:

I did buy myself a little bag of Cadbury mini eggs, but that's the extent of my Easter candy/gifts.

My parents made DH and I an easter basket with a bunch of candy in it, and a chicken-shaped plate that holds eggs. His parents gave us each a big chocolate bunny, and SIL's parents gave us a big bag of Easter M&Ms. And DH gave me a big pink stuffed Peep. :lol: We're on a little bit of a sugar high around here!

DH didn't get me anything which I knew would happen but I got him a while snickers chocolate covered apple. Talk about yummy. He ate it all really fast! I didn't expect anything either but I couldn't resist getting him this. I haven't been to my parents house yet but my guess is that they got us a card.

My kids asked Grammy what the Easter Bunny got her though LOL!

I got a gc for a mani/pedi and a day alone to scrapbook since my retreat trip had to be cancelled.

I got a Cadbury cream egg. Just one since he knows I'm trying to lose weight! (and he used a coupon :up: )

DH won a big basket of chocolate so we all got chocolate. In general, I wouldn't get anything though.

The kids got me a cadbury dream egg. My parents gave Tony and I $200 cash. My mother prefers to give cash, it's her way to tell me not to eat too much chocolate :giggle: She also gave the kids $50 each instead of chocolate as again she doesn't want them eating too much chocolate either. (she is weight obsessed)

I was a little ticked at Alex b/c he didn't go shopping till Saturday afternoon when all the good stuff was sold out, so I didn't get the Easter Egg that I wanted. He got me some Rocky Road, which I don't eat so he and the kids shared it :rolleyes:

I also got $100 from his grandparents so today I bought myself a pair of pjs, 3 new bras and two hoodies :)
