Ali Edwards is a big name in the scrapbook industry. Her son has autism, and she put a badge on her blog to raise money for Autism Speaks through Six Degrees, Kevin Bacon's effort to connect people and raise money for different causes. He will match the amount raised by the top two (I think) badges. The contest ends at the end of this month. Ali's badge is up there, but they are still looking to get more. You can donate as little as $10. (It's the number of donations, not the amount of money raised that matters in the contest.) Here's Ali's blog. I've been following along on her blog. They don't accept donations from Canada, but I've been thinking poritive thoughts for her and her efforts. It's really amazing what she's done!
