Cass is going to College!!

She was accepted to 2 of the 3 she applied at but the one she really wanted to go to wants her to take a test in mid April..the other schools wanted a confirmation by May..who know's if Cass would get the results from third choice and or acceptance so she decided made a decision yesterday ( after a tiny bit of pressure from me) and picked a school in London, Ontario which I'm afraid to say I know nothing about..not sure if it's 1 or 2 hrs from here.. I think it's 2 :scratch: anyway she is letting her guidance counciller at school know today and applying for residence online tonight..here is where you all come in..it's a lottery system so I need lots of good thoughts or prayers that she gets picked :pray: I don't want her living on her own the first year or sharing a house/apartment with a stranger :errr: maybe next year :dunno:

I'm so excited for her!:bliss:

So..this is the year we're going to go even more broke!! books :faint: the cost of residence(if she gets in) :faint: the course itself :faint: and then she wants to go to University after double :faint:

Thanks everyone!! :grouphugg I'm sort of in denial about it..it hasn't sunk in yet that she'll actually be moving out :mope: I really wish the local college offered this course but alas.. her guidance counciller wasn't in today but is supposed to tomorrow..I told her with or without him she is accepting so she can apply online for the residence..:tearhair: she's going next week for an open house but I can't go with her because my sister bought tickets to Disney On Ice and it's too late to back out..Tony will go with her to ask all the pertinant questions..we'll go back in the summer to check the area out.

Thanks again everyone :) She applied the other day for residence ( it's sooooo expensive!! :faint: ) yeah, take my advice...start saving for your kids now please :eek: I'm so glad we had something put away for her, I have to give Tony the credit for doing that, me..not so good with stuff like that :shuffle:
Joan, I don't have any recent pics myself but she just had a semi formal at school and she uploaded a bunch.. I'll get her permission to post a pic later but yeah it's true she's growing up.. I was thinking about it last night when I went to bed..the one person who it's going to effect most( besides me) is Paige :( I know she's going to miss her big sister 'cause she is close to the same age as I was when my sister moved out for college..although my sister and I are really close now there was a loooong stretch where she did "her own thing" :sigh: I know I'm going to cry my eyes out when she does move out..kind of like I am as I'm writing this :bawl:

So, I ordered her grad pictures but because a copy of my original order didn't come back I can't prove anything but I'm almost positive I ordered the pic of her with a cap on :scratch: what do you all think, this pic or should I make sure I get a cap grad pic? I called the photography place and spoke to the guy, he said he was going to check into it and never called back :rolleyes:

I have no idea what I ordered 'cause i went back and forth on my decision..I guess I should/could ask him to email me a copy of what I ordered..maybe that's why he asked if I had a fax number( which I don't..figures)

I too LOVE that pictures. We don't do grad pictures here and I so wish we did. I think for my own I would want one with the cap on but that picture is beautiful too!
