Do you use it? If so, what kind?

I was thinking about this the other day as I was cleaning my bathroom. We've had a can of Oust in there for over a year and I think it's been used like twice. We just don't use canned air fresheners at all.

What we do use is those plug-in ones. I've used Glade ones in the past but in the last 3 or so months have switched to Bath and Body Works wallflower ones. We have one in the laundry room where the cat's litter box is.

Anyway, I was just bored and curious.

I use B&BW Wallflowers too  I currently have the "Red Hot Passion" scent in it  I also burn candles alot.

My Wallflower is over the mantle in the living room and I have a candle of the same scent back in my bedroom.

I tend to stick with febreze. I bought a febreze noticeable, the plug in kind, but have yet to plug it in. I like that it doesn't have a "scent" it just smells "fresh" if that makes any sense

We use the Wallflowers quite a bit, but with Jeremy crawling, we've had to take them out of the outlets. One day last week I noticed he smelled of the scent, which made me believe he found it on the wall. We use the Glade oulet ones in Jeremy's room, but I don't think they're doing a good enough job masking the stench of the diaper pail.

We have a can of Glade spray in the bathroom but we (read: Keith) rarely use it. I also have a Plug-In in the outlet in there but I think I need to change it.

We have cans of spray in each bathroom. One is Lysol, the others are linen or another non-flowery scent.

I got one of those Wallflowers for xmas and I couldn't handle it. It releases way too much scent for me. It gave me a headache within 10 minutes :dead:

We use a plug-in in the basement where the litter box is. And we have a can of Glade Air Infusions down there for when Chris changes the litter box. We also have that same spray in the bathroom. I have to use it often w/ Norah's dipe changes. That girl just stinks  And its the one canned spray that doesn't smell like "bathroom spray" to me.

we have some canned citrus ones in the bathroom that aren't too bad. We used to use the plug in ones, but I found them to be WAY too much for me (we were using them in a 1/2 bath so the scent kind of got stuck in there.)

We're fans of Febreeze, though- I'll have to check out their plug-ins.

I like the real citrus type and also most of the Febreeze Air Effect spray. I like that it "cleans the air" after diaper changes without smelling like canned flowers.

We only use Febreze, and that even rarely. I've heard (from firemen) that those plug-in versions are a main cause of fires (drawing alot of power for such a little thing, and very contributory to short-outs) so DH is too paranoid to even consider those.

I have and use Lyscol for the garbage can and for when the kids are sick, but use the plug in ones for others areas. I generally use the Yankee Candle ones, but recently bought one of the ones you can have spray every xx minutes or so. I like that the best.

We use the Febreeze Noticeables and we LOVE them. They have the best smells and since they alternate between two smells you don't just get used to one scent so it always smells fresh.

Dh is wickedly allergic to those plug in things..gives him a migrane.
One of the supervisors at work has one of these in her office

I have a Yankee Candle Reed Diffuser too. My MIL got it for me for my birthday. She's got about a dozen in her house. I think it's ok. :dunno: Mine doesn't smell nearly as strong as the one your supervisor has.

I wanted to try one of the diffusers but I'm afraid what would happen if one of my kids got hold of it. I can see them sword fighting with oily sticks. Ew.

I tried Febreeze Noticeables but they were so mild, I barely noticed them.

We also have a couple cans of Oust in our storage room...mostly used for dog farts. :giggle: I also have a bottle of Febreze for the occasional freshening. I try to use it on our carpet after I vacuum to get rid of dog smell there.

Mostly, I use scented candles. I also have a tart burner...but it's really more smell than we need. I have a tart currently melted in there....once it's mucky, I'll clean it up and get rid of the burner.

I bought the reed diffusers from pier 1, but the scent didn't last very long. I have a BBW wallflower in my living room that I like, it is apple pie scent. I also use febreeze in the carpets after I vacuum sometimes as well.

Air freshner sprays skeeve me out b/c I can only smell what I feel they are trying to hide. Let's not get into the details and just call it childhood trauma. :awink:

We have a few plug in/free standing ones in the bathrooms though for house-selling purposes. They don't really smell strongly so they don't bother me.

We don't have any air refreshener because the smell of them makes me :dead:. I hate hate hate them. And... Yumi loves playing with them. So if there is a bad smell, I just use one of my many perfumes.

I got a reed diffuser for Christmas. I haven't used it yet, though  It's more of a spring scent, IMO (Bergamot Coriander), so I'll probably try it in the spring :)
