What do you use? Specifically for the top of the stove. Everything I use seems to leave streaks. :dunno: Any hints?

We use some kind of special smooth-top cooktop cleaner for our cooktop  I will look at home and see what the name is b/c I don't remember

I don't know if it's recommended, but I use Windex. When I remember to clean them (fridge and dishwasher). No idea on the stove.

Microfiber towels are great for the streaks. :aok: I often use windex on my smooth surface black cooktop, too. And then buff with the microfiber towel. :aok:

You can use ceramabryte, or a good old baking soda/water mix.

On our old glass top stove, we used that glass oven cleaner. I think it was made by Easy Off, but I let stuff accumulate for so long that it was never an easy job.

We have a regular electric stovetop here and I read somewhere to use white vinegar and water. I just tried that today and it worked great.

We have a gas stove rather than a smooth cooktop. I may try the vinegar and water trick. What kind of proportions do you use?
