We have 2 lower/corner lazy susan cabinets in the U shape of our kitchen. In one I have some misc. canned goods that I don't use very often and in the other I have baking stuffs like mixing bowls, mixer, rolling pin, etc.

I can't stand them. They are a PITA to store anything in because of the round shape of the shelves, and stuff is forever getting caught behind them in the dark recesses of the cabinet. :disbelief:

Do you have them? What do you store in them?

We have one. It's right beside the stove, and we store our pots / pans in it. So there is tops 7 items per shelf, almost all single level.

We have two lazy susan cabinets next to the stove each with two shelves, one up above and one with the lower cabinets. The top one stores all my spices/oils and the ramekins and liquid measuring cups. The bottom one stores all the pot and pan lids and the colanders. I actually like them for the purposes they're serving now.

we have two, one upper cabinet, and one lower. They are lifesavers for us, because we have very little storage in our kitchen. The top one is a food pantry, the bottom stores tupperware, bowls, pots and pans, and all of the bottled cooking oils, vinegars, etc. that we have. It's taken me 7 years to do it, but I think I've maximized the possible storage out of 'em! I rarely lose an item in the back anymore.

We have one in the corner of our kitchen like you do Lynn. I really like ours. It has 2 levels. On the top shelf, I put all of our spices and peanut butter, jelly, lemonade and other various canisters. The bottom is full of cans. The only time we have a real problem with things getting knocked off the shelves is when we put too much stuff on them. OR, when the kids get in it. But, we have a lock on it so they don't get in unless I leave it open.

We have one lower one and you name it, it's in there. We don't have a pantry so it's extra storage space for food plus all the appliances I refuse to keep out on our countertops. :)

In contrast, in the US, we had such a huge pantry and so much cabinet storage that our lazy susan was totally empty. Sometimes the cat would climb in there and hide.

Pots and pans in ours too. I actually added it when we built the house for pot and pan storage

Lynn, I have the same exact thing in mine - and it's near the stove and I hate the darned thing. I remember being a kid and my Grandmother had one in her kitchen and I thought it was soooooo cool.
Now I think it's a big PITA.

We have one, too. Its a lower cabinet and its two shelves. I use it for food storage....almost all food. Its got a bit of a lip on the shelves, so stuff doesnt fall off the shelves too often.

We have a lower/2 shelf cabinet too. I really don't like it. In the 7 years since we've been here, I've tried a lot of different things in there and storage/organization options, and nothing works well enough for me to not wish it was a regular cabinet or two. Right now it has misc. appliances in it.

I don't have one, but my mom has a lower one and uses it for storing all her Tupperware and storage containers and the like.
