Bon Jour! Welcome to the grand opening of Maison d’ Interieur (House of Design).
I am available to help you with questions and concerns you may have about your décor. In addition, I can do an in-home consultation to assist you with designing and planning of your interior.
We have several products available, including fabrics and finishes,

http://im1.shutterfly.com/procserv/47b7dc33b3127cce81d38e70ef9b00000016108AbtHDRizctD
We also have furniture and accessories (to be edited with pictures)..
As in most French décor, our clients tend to like things over the top. One of our latest clients chose this chaise lounge:
http://im1.shutterfly.com/procserv/47b7dc33b3127cce81d38e7f6ea400000016108AbtHDRizctD
to go in her petit salon de dame (boudoir). The look was classic and elegant and well received.

A recent client recommended me to a woman who was seeking to renovate her apartment. Together she and I came up with this:

And her dining room:

Our hours are 8am – 8pm M-F. Weekend appointments are available upon request, though I tend to stop by the wine shop on Friday nights after a long day. ;)
I will return with our address and phone number as soon as I get my business cards from the printer.

Yes, let's do that. It needs updating...all new appliances, new cabinets, and some new decor. It hasn't been updated in 30 years. I'm thinking some rich, warm colors.
Lynn
February 12th, 2007, 02:22 PM
Merci, Colleen. That is in the home of Mme Charlevoix.
Nichole, here are some ideas to get you started.
Maybe with walls painted in the blue color? It would really make your sleigh bed pop.

http://im1.shutterfly.com/procserv/47b7dc33b3127cce81dc48b48feb00000016108AbtHDRizctD
Classic and elegant: (and yet perhaps not so wise for your petit fils? ;) )
http://im1.shutterfly.com/procserv/47b7dc33b3127cce81dc48cd0ea200000016108AbtHDRizctD
And something maybe a bit masculine for Monsieur Brendon?

Gorgeous, Lynn! :pant: The last two are out - too white (with the boys AND the husband  I love the crisp look, though) and too masculine (if he wants to get any, it has to not feel like a bachelor pad  ).
I'm undecided between the first options. I've been thinking about going with a khaki/ice blue scheme and I really like that, but I often tend to be drawn to the red scheme, too. Hmm... decisions, decisions...

Hello shopkeep!!!
I too, would like some tweaking done to my bedroom. My two main criteria are soundproofing the walls and adding a lock to the door. Do you have anyone you can recommend for this, or do you have someone in house that will be able to:airquote: fulfill my needs? :airquote:
Once we get that done, I would love a remodel using fabric on my walls and very lux bedding. Lots of padding on the bed, with plenty of pillows. A headboard is a must. Jewel and earth tones please. Oh, and I love silk sheets.

After my coal raking this morning, I had to have another cup of (strong) coffee and some serious chocolate at the bakery. As a result I am starting my day rather late. I shall open after lunch and will return with my design plans for those who have asked.

Your work is WONDERFUL Lynn!!! However, since I just wanted to jump right in and open my business, I didn't take the time to remodel like I should have. Do you do the hip and trendy night club scene? Money is not an object... Also, I need the best sound system... got any recommendations or can you hook me up with that too?
Of course Jolene!
Here is what I came up with for your establishment.

I can come to you and I'm giving you full reign to do whatever you'd like. I just need something, anything new :)
For you, I have decided to design a brand new walk-in closet. Since you have given me full reign I have decided to include a new wardrobe valued at $10,000.
I hope you like it.

Hello! I am in need some help. My wonderful husband (who does not know about the delivery boy...shhh) is refusing to agree with me on bedding for our new chateau. I am in love with chocolate brown and blue tones. Could you please let me know what you think of this combination so that I may try to persuade him? I would be happy to send my delivery boy over to pick up some samples of fabrics if you have any in stock that I can look at.
Merci!
Kim

Humm, I am not so in love with the styles you chose for me. I do, however, appreciate "G" (as I call him now), your new helper. I agree, what is in the toolbelt is what is important. His is impressive.
I cannot believe your nerve in declaring that I would pose for such a distasteful photograph. Certainly I deserve more respect, non?
Now, I have seen some of your ideas posted elsewhere that I desired as more in line for my bedroom. I shall return with those to see what we can work out.

Could we perhaps find a toile material to use on the walls, then a dramatic bed covering? Maybe reverse the colors to red on the bed, black and white toile on the walls. Drama is a MUST!!!

Alysia, those are pefect! Merci!
I was just thinking that I hadn't gotten back to you. What kind of living space do you like? Rich leathers? Girly florals? Country ginghams?
You are most welcome!
Something warm, rich, and comfortable!

Okay Sandy - here is your red toile bed coverings. I feel like the colors are too muted so I will have to make sure my suppliers know that I want DRAMA and DEEP RED!

Tell your husband that brown and blue are the best of both worlds. He gets masculine (brown) and you get pretty (blue). Win-win!
Here are some bedding ensembles I have in stock. Apparently I am in a stripey kind of mood today!
