Welcome to my vineyard!
Chatueau Évreux-Debat has been in my family for several decades, but its only been the past 2 years that its been under my personal operation.
We're a very small vineyard that specializes in reds and only puts out a small amount of wine each year.
Here our this year's wines:
Chatueau Évreux-Debat Cuvée Rubis
Fermentation in tanks prior to maturation in new oak casks for a period of between 10 to 12 months. Merlot : 50%, Cabernet Sauvignon : 45%, Malbec : 5%. The grapes are manually harvested prior to being sorted at the press house. This wine boasts a deep ruby colour along with its aromas and powerful, well-structured intensity. It is a wine which possesses the depth and concentration to evolve.
Chatueau Évreux-Debat Cuvée Traditionnalle
Fermentation and maturation in tanks. Merlot : 50%, Cabernet Sauvignon : 45%, Malbec : 5%. The grapes are manually harvested prior to being sorted at the press house. This wine exhibits a deep ruby colour together with aromas of fruit. On the palate, the wine is well-balanced and powerful. It is a wine which worth cellaring.
Chatueau Évreux-Debat Rosé
Fermentation and maturation in tanks. Merlot : 40%, Cabernet Sauvignon : 50%, Malbec : 10%. The grapes are manually harvested prior to being sorted at the press house. With its intense aroma of exotique fruits, this wine is fresh and fruity on the palate. It is a accompanies perfectly, cold meats, barbequed meals and salads. Alternatively, it can be enjoyed as an aperitif.
We offer wine tastings daily, and have a small store where we sell our wines to the public.
Hours are 10am - 4pm daily.
Come on in and try some! à votre santé

For a limited time, I am offering a Pouilly Fuissé, which is made from a chardonnay grape variety. This wine has an emerald-golden hue. It is usually very brilliant. The bouquet is seductive : floral and fruity with a dominance of ripe fruit and fresh almonds.
After some time in the bottle, Pouilly-Fuissé develops a lovely, complex bouquet. On the palate, the wine is round and dry.
This wine should be served at 12 to 14oC. It goes well with shellfish, fish, quenelles, white meats in creamy sauce, poultry and sweetbreads.
This is selling for 20 euros.

What a lovely vinyard mo cheri!!!!
I love a robust red - what are your recommendations?
I often enjoy wine and good food with friends. As I said, my favorite are the robust reds, but do have the need for some wines that will not stain as easily. What are your recommendations for whites - particularly those that go well with finger foods? Something light, so as not to weigh us down.

For a red, I reccommend my Chatueau Évreux-Debat Cuvée Rubis. However, the only white I have made this year is my Chateau Évreux-Debat Pouilly-fuissé. Try it. I think you may like it.

Would you prefer the Cuvée Traditionnalle or the Cuvée Rubis?
Any hard cheese will go with it wonderfully.
Enjoy!
