Lauren (almost 4 months) is still waking up several times a night and some nights she won't go back to sleep for and hour or two. She started to do really good but now it's like having a newborn again!

Last night she wouldn't sleep for more than 30 minutes at a time and wanted to eat every 3-3.5 hours. We got her to sleep for a 2 hour stretch so that's the most sleep I got all at once. All the other sleep I got was cat naps and not really "refreshing" sleep at all!

With Victoria and Alex this is about the time that they were really starting to sleep through the night (or at least for 6-7 hour stretches) so I was feeling better. I feel like I'm going in reverse! I really wanted to call in sick to work today, send the kids to the sitter's and just sleep but NO.. Instead I'm sitting here fighting the urge to put my head down and take a nap and feeling like I have a hangover or something. I'm on my second LARGE cup of coffee for the day and it's not helping.

I feel for you. I was up at 4:30 am, and I am SO tired. I can't imagine not sleeping for more than 2 two hrs. :hug99:

Dawn, I can relate. Julian is 19 months old, and while he sleeps well a lot of the time (even if he does wake up ridiculously early!), every so often something will throw his sleep pattern off and he'll either wake up several times during the night or wake up and be up for a long stretch (like two hours). The next day is hell, and it's even worse if it goes on for several days in a row. I feel for you, honey. Hang in there. :bighug:
