Nope..I used to skate when I was in grade 8 but that was it, I wasn't great at it but I atleast did..funny you ask 'cause we were just the other day discussing getting Paige to skate.

Well the last time I skated was in highschool, but I would like to think I could still do it, I had no problems doing it then so I can't see it being any different now :dunno:

I remember going to the "ice skating disco's" on Friday nights when I was in grade 8 :giggle: aaahhh the memories

I've done it once and I almost broke my ankle (I sprained it REALLY severely) and mess up my knee.

Paul can ice skate and Matthew's been once.

I can, but it has been about 7 years since I've skated. And probably another 5-10 before that.

Yes. :nod: I learned when I was so young I don't even remember learning. I guess you have to do something in the cold Minnesota winters. :lol: That said I proabably haven't ice skated since 9th grade or so, 15 years maybe. :dunno:

Yes. I learned to skate when I was young....Abby has been once.

Yes, I learned when I was young, and skated a lot during HS (I dated a hockey player, so we went skating A LOT), and I even took figure skating for some of my PE credits in college. I don't think I've skated since that gym class in college though.

Jackson has never been, but he has skates, so I want to take him. I'm trying to get him in a learn to skate class but none of them are at good times for us.

Oh gosh no! I am the clumsy one you see who has a friend on either side of her hanging on for dear life. I've tried. I really have. But I just can't. :(

I know how to ice skate but haven't done it in years....maybe 1996/1997. My skates are just hanging in the storage area of the basement.

Yes, I do. I think I learned when I was 5 or so (on double bladed skates of my own). Like Erica said, you have to have something to do in the winter :lol:

Later on, my parents moved to a lake, so I learned how to skate on hockey skates and play hockey w/ my brothers and their friends.

I think the last time I skated was 6 years ago...right before I got PG w/ Aidan. Chris and I went to an outdoor rink here one night when we were bored.

We used to go roller skating at the arena on Friday nights when I was about 7 :lol:

I haven't skated since before Hanna was born -- when I was younger I was in figure skating.

I can ice skate, I did so competitively as a kid...I was "good"...as in I won a few medals...but definitely not good enough to go any further than small town competitions in the middle of nowhere, ya know?

I quit in 7th or 8th grade, I still skated in our back yard in the winter for awhile, but since high school I have not once went skating again.

I can also rollerskate, but not as well, I never fall while skating, and can go pretty fast, but nothing else... I've been inline skating twice...I'm not to good at that.

Yes, I can ice skate, although I haven't been in years. And since tearing a ligament in my foot my doctor said I probably shouldn't do it too often. :nono: But I do love rollerskating and Caroline and I go often!

I learned to ice skate in maybe 2nd grade. I think that a friend of mine had a birthday party at the ice rink. When I was in 5th grade, I used to skate every week for fun. I took a class but mostly went to the free skate. I didn't ice skate for years afterwards. In college I went skating with a few friends & dang did my ankles hurt! I haven't been ice skating since, though I tried rollerblading & I suck at it.

Erik skates; he plays ice hockey on a team weekly.

No, not really. I have gone a couple of times, the most recent being about 5 years ago at a local hockey rink. I had one of those 'feet swooping out from under your body so you fall flat on your back' falls, and I decided I'm just not into ice skating. :lol: (it was a hard fall; hard enough that I smacked the back of my head on the ice. not fun.)

Yup. We used to go all the time in college to the local indoor rink. It was $1 I believe for 3 hours of skating. I think the last time I went was around the time Phil and I got married and we went to Skate on State street in downtown Chicago.

Yes, we used to skate every day of the winter on the cranberry bogs that were flooded. I also took figure skating lessons when I was in elementary school.

I haven't been on skates in about 11 years though.

Yea, I used to be pretty good at it. But the last time I went skating was....well....I think forever ago.

Yes. I can't do tricks or anything, but I can stay upright and get a bit of speed going :)

No. I suck. We had a pond down the street that used to freeze over in winter and I was terrible!

Yes. I love it - not that I am a professional or anything. Haven't skated for the past 17 years or so and I really miss it!
