I have been wracking my brain trying to find some good hotel rates for when we go to Portugal this summer and the travel agents are giving us the run around saying that rooms only allow 3 people??so what am I supposed to do,put my 14 yr old in her own room?? well I looked on Expedia( anyone ever book with them?) last night and it asks how many adults and children that would be in the room and Cass is consitered a "child" and can be in my room, infact it came up with 3 choices! nothing about a 3 person limit came up? I am soooo confused and frustrated :help:

I personally have not booked with expedia but have you considered calling the hotels directly? I wonder why the travel agency is saying 3 is the limit.... something is not right.

My Father uses Expedia all the time. He travels at least once a month and if he is making a quick trip (he fly's all over the USA to pick up medical equipment) he always hops online and makes all the arangements through expedia. He seems pleased. But if your unsure do what Tricia says..Call the hotel and see what they say and then go back and book with the better rate through expedia. We use AAA around here for booking things but that is an american thing I believe.

You can also book directly through alot of hotel websites. Which hotel chains are you looking at?

That is wierd about the 3 people. Have you tried just calling a hotel there and asking them?? I hope you get it all figuered out. :)

You might also try Travelocity. We always use them when we travel.

I have used both Expedia and Travelocity. They both worked out great and we got great deals!:aok:
