Do you have a robe? Yep
Do you wear it? Yes but only after a shower not lounging around the house type robe.
What does it look like? Hmm it's a reversible one ..brushed cotton yellow/white plaid..this is what I vaguely remember about it..I'd have to go and look at it now to see if I was right

I have another question related..do you call it a robe or a housecoat? I know a person who calls it a housecoat and had to ask her what it was

No. And I have no idea why

I used to have one of those silk type kimono ones with the embroidered dragon on the back that my mother brought back from China for me, but I LONG ago outgrew that one (in width not height :giggle: )

I have 2 robes. One is pale blue and one is really ugly red and dark blue (it was a gift). I rarely wear either one. Just if I get out of the shower and one of the kids needs me right away.

I don't have one. I like the idea of a robe, but I know I would never wear one.

Do you have a robe? Yes
Do you wear it? No. I just don't ever need to. I always get dressed before I come downstairs and it takes to much time to bother when I have to get up from bed and go to the bathroom. As Tylor gets older I might..but I wear PJ's so it isn't that big of a deal.
What does it look like?It is beautiful. From China..Silk! I really do like it..I just can't get in the habbit.

Yes. It's white thick cotton, from Victoria's Secret. I wear it most mornings when I get out of the shower.

I mostly wear it so my wet hair can be absorbed by the robe, instead of hitting my back and making me cold.

Yes, I asked for one for Christmas. I wear it when I get up in the mornings after I feed Dylan over my pj's. I just don't feel like getting dressed at 6am and it keeps me warm while surfing OUAL. My robe is pink with fleece on the inside and terry on the outside.

I wasn't sure that I would wear it but now that I have it I love it.

Yes, I got it when I was pregnant with Matthew to wear in the hospital. I discovered that I preferred regular clothes and never wore it then. I do wear it occasionally, but it's rare. It's light blue.

When I come to think about it - I have .... 3 robes. GASP!

- One silk robe I bought before we got married (for the wedding night. If I were to buy it today I'd buy something much more.... sexy LOL)
- A robe I use when I am at the hospital (giving birth mainly) since the hospital gowns are exposing too much. It is blue and fugly but I don't care since it can get stained anyway. I got it from MIL. It is practical and that's all I care.
- Another fugly robe (warm) I got from DH's grandma. I never wore it.

I don't wear robes unless I am at the hospital.

Do you have a robe? No, I just don't like the way they look and feel.

I had one in college, but I've never worn one otherwise. :dunno:

No. It sounds like a good idea but I have no reason for one.

I got one when I was pregnant with the twins, but I wore it two-3 times when in the hospital and it's been hanging in my bathroom ever since. It's a big, hunter green, terry-cloth robe. Very comfy/cozy, but I never got into the habit of wearing it.

Yes, I have a robe. I wear it from time to time. It's pink fleece. It's great for when I'm lounging around the house.

Yes, I have 2 and I wear them often.

One is a polar fleece one. I put it on over my jammies at night before bed and in the morning when I get up. I don't get dressed till after I shower, which is about 30 mins-60 mins after I am up, so I need it to keep me warm! Its cold here!!!

The other is a robe that I wear when I get out of the shower and I don't know what I am going to wear. Its terry cloth lined and the outside is silky looking (prob. polyester). Its from VS. I may also wear this over jammies in spring when its cooler, but not cold enough for the fleece.

I have one, but I rarely wear it, I usually throw one of Scott's sweatshirts over my pjs in the morning. It is pink chenille, pretty, but it just feels kind of big and bulky to me. I tried to wear it in the hospital after Anna was born, but it was July and even though there was A/C it wasn't cold enough to wear it.

He bought me the robe, come to think of it, so maybe it was a hint to stop wearing his sweatshirts.

I have one - it's light blue really soft terrycloth with a zipper. I asked for it last Christmas because our house is pretty cold. I wear it if I change into my pjs when the kids do or stay in my pjs for breakfast (which I do quite often if Katie wakes up before I'm dressed). I love it! I'll also wear it after the shower if one of the kids needs me before I'm dressed or is in the shower with me and needs to be dried.

I have three robes, although two I don't count as "wearable" because they are purely for purposes of ending up wadded up on the floor, iykwim! :brow: :pasties:
One is a cream colored thin silky type material (charmeuse? something like that) with cream satin cuffs and belt. The other is a white silk robe with long pointed sleeves with pink/yellow/blue/lavender flowers embroidered across the shoulders and down the arms.

The only "useful" robe I have is a dark purple terry robe a friend bought me for my birthday years ago.

Do you have a robe? Yes, I have 3.
Do you wear it? Yes, one is my lounging robe, one is my hot tub robe and one is for summertime.
What does it look like? My lounging robe is black satin with pink fuzz lining. Very chic! :snob: My hot tub robe is very thick and has a martini lounge theme; shakers, glasses, neon signs against a black background. (DH and I have matching ones :awink: ) and my summertime robe is short, white and made of that waffle terrycloth.

I love bathrobes.

I have one of the thick spa-type robes ones from Linen and Things David bought me a few years ago for Christmas. I wear it almost every morning after taking a shower because I hate being cold :) I also wear it to be lazy in while I'm painting my nails or something.

I also have blue light terry cloth one that I wear in the summer. I actually bought it to wear to the hospital when Kaleb was born (13 years ago!!!!)

Yep, I have one. It's pink terry cloth and mid-calf. I wear it usually after I shower over my bra/underwear.(I hate going up to get dressed if Aaron isn't up our because closet is right above his room).

I also have a pink gingham robe that I got as part of a pj set for the hospital. I like it in the summer because it's so lightweight.
