DH had surgery last October on a varocele(spelling??) and we just got the results last week and his numbers doubled..:woo: Still on the low side but it's an improvement! 9 million now with 75% mobility.. So my question, has anyone ever got pg with low numbers without doing IF treatments? I have PCOS, so I'm sure I will have to get on Clomid, but we just don't have the money for IUI or IVF..:sad: I'm going to my RE tomorrow for my follow up appointment, so I'm hoping to get some good news!!

It only takes one!! I work with a woman who went through IVF because her hubby had low numbers. That didn't take, but then a few months later, they got pregnant on their own!

What did your RE say?

YES! Me! My husband is a cancer survivor and was hit really hard with chemo. At his last semen anaylsis, he had only 3 million sperm (only 50% were motile). He also had 37% sperm fragmentation (very bad.....so bad we weren't even able to get to an IVF cycle). I put him on Proxeed which he took for a month. Long story short, I am 18.5 weeks pregnant!

Well the RE said that the numbers are still low and even if we would try Clomid (since I have PCOS) for a few months and just do timed intercourse, it might not happen. Then he gave us 2 other options, IUI or IVF, which we don't have the money for right now. So needless to say, we are getting a second opinion and then may just tab for a while..
