My sister just had her egg retrieval this morning, and will have the transfer on Sunday. I'm not exactly sure how all of this works, and I'm wondering if someone can give me a quick description, so I don't have to bug her with all my technical questions. :) I'm really, really, really excited for her, and I don't want to bog her down with the details, kwim? Thanks Michelle! Her egg transfer was today, and there were two good prospects transferred. One was 6-cell and one was 9-cell. So :crossfing !!!

Good luck to her. My girlfriend had ICSI and had boy/girl twins! :) I don't know how it all worked though, just that they injected the sperm into the egg, they didn't trust it to swim across the petrie dish. :)

Now I'm curious what other IVF mommies had for HCG numbers. Hers were 35 on Saturday and 132 on Monday, which seems like a quick rate of increase to me. Maybe twins? :crossfing
