For those of you who use(d) Hylands Teething tablets, the directions say the melt easily under the tongue or you can dissolve in a tsp of water. For right now we'll be doing the dissolve in water thing, but what did you do with your kids?

I actually rubbed them right on Aaron's gums. I never tried dissolving them in water.

I never dissolved them. They pretty much dissolve as soon as they're in the mouth anyway.

I tried putting them in their mouth and they'd gag. So I dissolved them in about 2mL water in a medicine spoon and either used the syringe or spoon to give it to them.

They dissolved right away so I never diluted them.

I never dissolved them, either. As soon as they touched Nikita's tongue , the dissolved immediately (sometimes he'd be laughing and sticking his tongue out and i'd see them dissolved not even 2 seconds later), so that's what we went with.

I didn't dissolve them either....just stuck them on Alex's tongue. :) He LOVED those things and had no problems taking them and they were liquid on his tongue within seconds, so nothing really to swallow. :aok:

I remember being scared that she might choke on them at first. I tried putting them underneath Amelia's tongue but that didn't work. Then I put them on her tongue one at a time. Not only did it melt on her tongue, she would also kind of gum them. She ended up loving them! She sees the little bottle & gets pretty excited :lol: She's never gagged on them though she has gagged on many other things.
