Im back in normal clothes in the sence (and have been for a while) but Im still not in my old clothes. Most my old clothed didn't fit and are still to tight. I had one pair of shorts and 1 pair of capris that fit. So Ive bought lots of new shorts and pants. As for my tops lots of my old ones would fit but Ive been wearing my nursing shrits since its easier to nurse with them. So at 8 months PP I don't feel like Im back in my "normal" clothes.

I was home 3 days before I tried on a pair of my jeans. I probably could have worn them sooner but I really wasnt up to fighting with them so I stayed in my sleeping gowns. I didnt gain any weight while I was pregnant and lost 15+ after I had DD.

Holy cow!! I knew there were some people out there who were able to wear PP clothes home from the hospital, but I never knew so many existed!!! I had "transition" clothes in a larger size that I was able to wear 1 week PP, and ended up fitting into pre-pregnancy clothes from about 2 months-4 month PP. Some of the shirts are still not happening though, as I'm breastfeeding.

I still need to lose around 3 kilos to reach my pre-PG clothes ... and Shoham is 19 months old!!!! :bawl: :bawl: :bawl:
With Yumi I was back to my pre-pg weight after 6 months, even below it.
But I wasn't ever even CLOSE to my normal weight when leaving the hospital. I gained around 17 kilos in both PGs and had a lot left after giving birth.

UH - OMG! I never went back to the same size that I was before. I eventually weighed less than I did before I got pregnant, but I always had this little belly that I never had before. I cannot believe all you people who came home from the hospital in prepregnancy clothes. THat is amazing! HOLY COW! I could only dream. I gained around 45-50 pounds with Carter and I assume that will happen again!

I left the hospital in regular clothes. Granted, the pants had a drawstring waist, but they weren't maternity! My tops were all pre-pregnancy right from the beginning, and I was comfortably back in my favorite pre-pregnancy jeans by 6 weeks PP.

Gosh, this thread depressed me! It took a long time for me to lose the weight I gained. Now I have to lose the weight I gained after I quit smoking (way before I got pregnant)!

I haven't had "regular" clothes for the longest time! I don't remember when I stopped wearing maternity clothes... Maybe after a few months???

I first tried at 3 days post partum...they fit but were not comfortable. I tried again at 5 days and they fit great!

I started wearing regular clothes about 2 weeks after he arrived, I had a c-section so I didn't do much of anything before that two week mark. They are not my PP pants by a long shot but they aren't maternity clothes either. My guy is 6.5 weeks and I'm not near fitting into my pants yet so I bought some transition clothes. I just got medical clearance to do more then just light walking so I think that will help.

Well, I had "transition clothes" for a year! I wasn't really back into pre preg clothes until she was almost one. And I think this second one will take even longer!

Wow with all the skinny minnys!!! Not me! I was as swollen and a balloon when I left the hospital b/c I developed an infection during labor and they had me on IV antibiotics and fluid almost the whole time I was in there. I was huge!!!! I returned to work at 12 weeks and was able to wear some of my pre-pregnancy clothes, but only certain pieces. Now, at 5 1/2 months PP my body is still working on getting back to normal. I have a skirt on today that I haven't been able to wear before. Plus, I am still nursing so my bbs are still a lot bigger than they were PP. Most of my shirts fit now, just a little bit more snug in the chest area!!!

I tried on my pre-p jeans 2 days after coming home from the hospittal and they fit well enough to wear but they were definately tighter than they were pre-p.

Around 6 weeks PP... I'm a tiny person and I had a 10 lbs baby so it took a long time!
