It's NOT just yours!!! :tearhair:

Mine fight for small insignificant things, drives me up the wall!! Lately it seems like they want the same toys all the time, they have like 50 cars but they both HAVE TO HAVE the same two, oy!! :dead:

Mine have made a sport of it. (and also :gah: x 10000  )

Some days, it just sends me to the brink. They fight over any and everything. And like Mary said, they have to have the same toy right that minute! It's not even on their radar until the other is playing with it, and then it's the MOST IMPORTANT TOY EVER!!!

Of course they don't fight. They play nicely together and know that they need to share toys and take turns. It's such a nice scene to see the three of them sitting in a circle, playing with their toys together.

All the time. It's actually entertaining to see what one will do to aggravate the other.

All the time. I have told Natascha numerous times, it's not worth it fighting with a three year old as an 11 year old.

I think they wake up and think up ways to irritate each other. I seriously do.

I'm considering investing in a ref's outfit and whistle

The only good thing about the boys having gastro this week is that there hasn't been any fighting!

The fights between my kids are legendary. They especially like to show off their finely honed fighting skills in public.

Well, Jacob is a little small to fight with Anna, but Anna sure fights with Jacob.

Just wait until they are older. The fights get more fun and it's hard to break them up when they are both bigger than you

My kids haven't ever actually fought, but Caid doesn't have the verbal skills to fight, and is happy to give Janelle everything she asks him for, he doesn't get yet that he doesn't have to, so they have no reason to fight at this point.

As I think you know, we literally have this stuff. And the boys will try to break up their own flights when wearing this garb. :screwy:

I am sure I'm cursing myself for the future, but while they do squabble, Aidan & Colin still get along well far more often than not. (There are occasional yells from them at Seamus, but mostly that's still good. :heee: ) Lately, though, when they do fight, it's more intense teasing since they've figured out how to push each other's buttons. Most fights come from disagreements on what to play. For example, nothing riles them up more than when one of them wants our car to be a fire truck and the other wants it to be an ambulance. Who knew the siren sounds were so different. :dunno: Or when one wants to play hockey and the other baseball - they scream until one of them gives into the other. Annoying and cute.

The question is. When don't they fight? :giggle:

Ain't that the truth, Deb!

Tyrus freaks out when Alexis doesn't want to play his way. Oy. For instance, today they had a million stuffed animals all out in the room. Ty insisted that it was a Pet Shop, but Alexis insisted that it was the Zoo. Tyrus burst into tears SO UPSET that Alexis thought it was a zoo... You'd think I was slowly sawing his arm off to hear him screaming. :tantrum:

The kind of crap I hear all the time:

"Mommy, she said I'm not a princess but I am a princess."

"Mommy, her foot is touching my leg."

"Mommy, yesterday she got to sit here and now it's my turn to sit here but she says I can't sit here."

"Mommy, she's had a longer turn to wear the crown than I have."

Mine are very good at fighting. I love the idea of a ref whistle! I might need to get one of those. Somehow, I think they'd respond better to that than to me yelling. And it would be easier on my throat, too.

Alyssa- how cute that they try to break up their own fights!

Cami- my least favorite fights are the ones that start with "Katie says I can't XXX" after I hae just said we are going to xxx. :tearhair:

Sheila, it is so frustrating. I want to say, "Freaking stand up for yourself! Who cares what she says! Why do you let her bother you!"

The girls have been up for 1 hour 13 minutes. So far:

*Addison has asked 8 questions (as per Karri's fact in the other thread)
*Addison got mad because Aubrey put on her ballet leotard without asking
*Addison said, "Mommy, Aubrey said I'm not pretty. But I am pretty."

Now they are playing nicely playing "band" together. Brady just decided to get involved and picked out the cymbals. I bet he'll last about 2 minutes before he makes them mad.

eta: Not even. He put the drum on his head and they're trying to bang on it but he doesn't like that.

cami - sounds like our house

karly - i have a similar issue. aidan likes to set up the entire playroom to be his 'birthday party'. he doesnt want the twins to come in and touch anything and he FREAKS OUT when they do and don't listen to him and his rules. :gah: drives me nuts. he has the option of playing in his room, but noooooooooooooooooooooooooo

 Yes, and it can drive me mad. When they fight in the car I simply take out their CD and turn on one of mine.
They know how to push one another's buttons ...
