Do you find youself posting in journals less? Or does it not matter to you that those posts don't count toward your November post total?

I don't know that it matters. Honestly I think I might be posting in Journals less because the rest of the board is finally more active and it is nice to participate that way!

I agree with Jayne. Although I just recently started posting in journals again so I am still trying to get back into the swing of things!

I'm posting in journals less right now due to the party. But I've been sucking butt in journals the last month anyway. Double

Oh but that's not because of the posts, just because it's hard to get everywhere. I don't care either way about that.

What Bridget said. There's so much new discussion elsewhere and limited time to get to everything.

I don't care - I still post in journals, it's the best way to catch up with people personally.

I've been sucking at journals lately too, so this game hasn't changed that.

I've never been much of a journal poster :shuffle: So this isn't affecting me much.

I'm posting in journals alot less. I'm finding with my limited online time that I'm having more fun playing the November posting game without trying to keep up on individual journals. It's takes more time to get myself updating on each individual journal than to jump in to the "common space." Usually I'm more of a journal person and I'm realizing that I've missed out on a fun part of OUAL! I'm trying to visit journals, too, but I've really had fun getting to know people who I haven't interacted with much before.

I agree with Amanda. I don't think I've ever posted this much in such a short amount of time. I like being able to follow along with everyone else, just to see what everyone is talking about. And it's also given me a chance to try to be creative in thinking of subjects to talk about. :)

I like that there's been so much chatter going on. I couldn't believe all the discussion that happened over the weekend! Usually it's just a few things I need to catch up on, but there was a bunch over the last weekend.

I have been posting less in my journal and others. There is just too much to keep up with every day in the general forum, plus it's lots of fun. It has brought out interesting tendencies in a few people....look at Amanda :giggle:

I've been slacking pretty badly on posting in journals for quite a while now, nothing to do with this game.

my online time is much more limited lately, just really busy with things...but I still post in journals the same amt as before....the rest of the board doesn't seem to get that much of my attention...(which you can tell by my rep amt LOL)

I sometimes feel the same way... I can barely post in my own journal! I am a sucky poster all around b/c I can't find time to get on here, but the posting party hasn't changed where I post. I'm pretty much clueless about the posting party activity anyway.

ETA: Like Lena said, my rep amount adequately reflects my lack of posting :)

I have a more limited online time now - 3 kids and back to work. But I still first go to buddy journals and then look at the new posts. My own journal is the one I slack in ....

For all the years of being part of the boards, I have always been a active general board person and limited journal person. I never really had my own journal because I just found it too hard to keep up with it, and keep up with other people. I have been making more of an attempt lately to do the journal thing due to the place bieng less active and if I didn't go to the journals i wouldn't see anybody.

But now everyone is back out in the general forums and I am seeing them I am finding I don't have the time to get into the journals because with the time I have for online I am spending it sorting through the gazillion posts and threads out there
