Do you always purchase the same brand or do you go for what is on sale? Things like,

diapers
food items
cleaning supplies
feminine products
make-up
toliet paper
anything else

I generally have spent many years testing what works for me. And there are some things I am extremely brand loyal and won't ever change. But other things I am more than happy to switch around depending ont he price.

For some things I'm brand loyal, others I could care less.

diapers - we tend to purchase pampers or huggies but I like pampers better.
food items - no loyalty here. What is on sale and/or what we have a coupon for.
cleaning supplies - what's on sale.
feminine products - the original tampax tampons.
make-up - just for mascara. it must be Maybellene in the pink and green tube.
toliet paper - i like charmin the best but will buy whatever.
anything else - condoms, for some reason we always buy trojans.

diapers -We don't use them now but I was totally brand loyal to Huggies
food items- Not really. I buy what I like but it doesn't have to be a brand
cleaning supplies I buy what works :dunno: if that counts.
feminine products yep..only playtex
make-up Nope..I keep trying to find something that covers acne better
toliet paper Nope..what is on sale as long as it is 2ply
anything else I can't think of anything but if I do I will come back and tell you!

I'm very brand loyal on many things, but there are some others (mostly staple food items like diced tomatoes and such) that I don't care about.

diapers- we don't need these anymore! :ura1: however, when we did, I used pampers, I tried a whole bunch of other brands and they didn't work as well.

food items- it depends, there are some that I think taste better than store brands and others the flavor doesn't change whether I buy national vs. store brand

cleaning supplies- eh, I'll buy what's cheap

feminine products- I'm brand loyal!

make-up- whatever has a color that I like

toliet paper- Kirkland all the way

anything else- it depends.

I know this is boring, but 'ditto'. :)

Same here.

diapers -I use Luvs b/c they work and are cheap, but I am not loyal to them.

food items- see above*

cleaning supplies- I pretty much use vinegar and TTO for everything except the toilet & tub...I use Comet in there.
feminine products- only brands, but I don't care about the brand

make-up- Nope - still trying to find one I love

toliet paper- Charmin or Kleenex

Same as Deb and Barb. There are certain things I won't budge and others I tend to buy whatever is cheaper.

I buy a lot of store brands, but then I'll spend more on certain organic items. So I'm kinda 50/50 I'd say.

We typically buy the same brand of toilet paper though. I kind to treat my rear end right.

I just thought of some others.

Peanut butter - we always buy Wild Oats creamy organic PB

OTC drugs - not necessarily brand loyal but I always buy the store brand. All drugs are regulated by the FDA so I figure they all work.

I'm mixed.
Diapers I go back and forth between pampers and huggies depending on price.
Food: I generally have a few brands. I only buy Skippy peanut butter!
Cleaning supplies: Again, a few different brands.
FEminine supplies: Totally brand loyal!
Make up: Constantly trying new things
TP: Whatever is at Costco!
