SCRAP SOUP
After every meal, place whatever vegetables are left into a bag in the freezer (yes, even if it is just 10 corn kernels or 6 green beans). When the bag is full it's time to make soup. Just follow your favorite soup broth/stock recipe. Add leftover beef or chicken and all of those vegetables. For my family, this amounts to a free meal as it's all of the scraps we might otherwise have fed to the garbage disposal.

EXTEND YOUR SOFTENER
To save money on fabric softener and dryer sheets. Mix liquid fabric softener 50/50 with water and pour it into a spray bottle. Spray a clean, dry washcloth 6 or 7 times and toss it into the dryer with the wet clothes instead of a dryer sheet. Clothes come out very soft. A bottle of liquid fabric softener lasts a very long time with this method.

Any one else would like to share tips? :)
