There's nowhere for me to dump these random thoughts, so I'm making a place.
Randomness:
1. being home all day with too much leftover Halloween candy is not good
2. I think I just ate too much candy
3. my stomach hurts

I hate my job.
I hate the coffee at my job.
My job enables me to buy expensive, yet unattractive black clompy clogs.
Back to work.

I am so tired
I don't want to go to Tylor's conference because I am tired
I don't want to go to bowling..because I am tired
Why am I so darn tired
The kids are staying at MIL's..I should be happy but Timmy is coming at 7:30 in the morning

I hate Nichole.
Why do I hate Nichole?
Because she mentioned Halloween candy.
And that made me want some.
And my receptionist has some.
And now I hate my receptionist.

I don't want to go to work tonight. I hate working at night b/c you have all day to think about how you don't want to go to work. I'd rather work in the morning b/c there is less time to think about how you don't want to go.
I want some Halloween candy too...

I hate that my brother works for Nestle.
No, I love that he works for Nestle.
But then that means we have good leftover Halloween candy.
Which makes me want to eat it.
But not infront of Riley because then I'd have to share.
And I hate that all these fun games on OUAL were started after I quit work. :gah:
Somehow watching my kids is taking me away from here.

November 2nd, 2006, 04:58 PM
No, Sandy- you can just click on the little scales below the username and give reputation to a user's post. The nominations are for extra special posts, of which I don't think mine qualifies. :heee:
I am NOT a poet; and I'm positive I know it.
ETA: But thanks for nominating it! :git:

I hate this thread.
Now I want Halloween candy, too.
I don't have any Halloween candy.
My stupid job makes me work late.
My kids didn't get to go trick-or-treating.
So I have no Halloween candy.
Very sad.

I think I need more candy.

My daughter is driving me nuts about a freaking sleepover tomorrow. She has called me 5 times in the past 5 minutes.
My damn dryer is broken and can't seem to find a replacement fast. I'm going to have to order it and wait. I've got 5 loads of laundry on my family room floor.
I'm going home now.

This thread is funny.
I finished Sarah's Halloween candy today.
Oink.
I'm glad she's too little to understand Halloween and doesn't care.
I'm also glad I gave a lot of it to my brother because there'd be more for me to make a feeble attempt at resisting.
I don't want to go to Williamsburg with my mom tomorrow because I'll have to hear her diagnose Sarah and then assure me Sarah will be fine 1000 times on the bus ride.
I should have my head examined for agreeing to go.
I don't want to try to fix Grandma's VCR tomorrow.
Why do I agree to these things?

I hope, hope, hope everyone leaves the new post icon with +10 for the mods

very very bad
but, it is fun
and people could always take bets on whether I will make it to December with a non-exploded head.

I watched ER when I was in med school but then the medical inaccuracies started to annoy me. Plus, when I was a resident I couldn't deal with watching anything remotely work-related during my rare time off!
I actually like Grey's Anatomy now but I rarely have time to watch. I also like House but I watch that even less often.

My son had a nap.
My daughter had a nap.
My husband had a nap.
Jessica was still in her pajamas.
Nathaniel was wearing nothing but a diaper.

I came home. Both kids got dressed and the dishes were done. (by me!)
How does that work?

Sick, I can't be sick. I take Singular and Alegra every darn day. How the heck can I be getting sick and why is there no doctor answering to tell me what I can possibly take in addition to those two pills. My throat is KILLING ME~

I can't wait until this weekend is over! (I'm on call and have been at the hospital all morning).
The TV in the doctor's lounge is tuned to the NYC Marathon.
Boy those folks are in good shape.
Cami
November 5th, 2006, 11:51 AM
I'll toast the marathoners with the Krispy Kreme donut I'm munching. Which, I might add, costs $1.80 for a single one. $14.00 for a dozen. :disbelief:
Barb

I didn't know they had Krispy Kreme in London
Our plot to take over the world is almost complete
I'll toast the marathoners with a beer later today
Cami

Our grocery store just started carrying them. Located right by the front entrance so we can't miss them. I can't believe I actually bought them.
eta: thanks for the points Barb. :awink:

My daughter's been having accidents
It seems to be a phase she's in
but if this keeps up for much longer
I'm checking myself into the looney bin.

Why are toys only fun,
When being dropped,
or kicked,
or swung,
or flung
in baby sister's face.
(I'll need a cocktail at this pace.)
A million toys,
aren't they swell?
Cars are perfect to impale
or toss from heights,
then give a yell.
"Look out belowwwwwwwww!"
(What the hell?)
Someone's crying,
So I'll end this fable,
If you need me,
I'm under
the table.

Why, oh why, did my husband let Alex watch a Rob Zombie video with him repeatedly?
Why can Alex remember THAT song and want to sing it all the time, but can't remember all the ABCs? GAH!

Wait.....
I'm going to change the subject.
I'm going to pipe in on the chocolate debate.
No white chocolate. Me no likey.
No dark chocolate. Me no likey
Milk chocolate? Me likey me likey me likey
Now I want chocolate so I am going to change the subject again.
I'm bored.
I'm tired.
My feet hurt.
I'm glad I can be at work w/ my door shut instead of at home chasing after kids.

Ugh...my house is in a freaking mess
causing me some major stress
laundry seems to be never-ending
now I got extra from camping
I am suffering from major sleep deprivation
despite tons of coffee and caffeination
cause Kyle is really sick
with crouping cough, ear infection and sore throat...poor kid
So we had an eventful night
that caused us quite some fright
steamy shower and nebulizer treatment did the trick
to avoid the not-so-much-fun ER trip.
Here's to a better night today
cause I don't think I can stay up much longer anyway.
Maybe coffee number 5 might do
or a bang to the head might, too.
