DH has a job interview!!!

:bliss: Finally, after looong agitating months of waiting, Yehuda has a job interview tomorrow! He has been thru hell with his new boss and we sooo need this to work out!

It is his first interview ever and how did he get it? After sending his CV to a gazillion places? Nope! One of his co-workers knows someone at whose company there is an opening. Yep - that seems to be the only way to get a job at his level (Comptroller/CFO). So ..... cross every possible finger for us tomorrow!!!

Yehuda called. It went OK but .... he is not sure.

The guy asked of course how come Yehuda was not promoted if he is so good at what he does and his answer didn;t seem to satisfy the interviewer.

Also they haven't decided if they want to take a young person for the job, like Yehuda, or go thru job hunters, get experienced ones and then pay 2x the salary.

The job itself is huge. It's to be responsible for 15 people and be ABOVE the CFO.

I really hope he will get this job because I think he can do it!

No news. We don't think he'll get it. I have some other news to share but don't hae the time for it now... (in short: it looks like there will be changes at his present place of work at the end of December that could affect him positively)

So the news are as follows.
There is a person, let's call him E, who works in the mother company of Y's company. He has taken him under his wings (E is a lecturer and Y is his assistant now). So after Y told him about the job interview he went to and how bad things are with his boss, E called the assistant of the CEO to a meeting and they told him there will be substantial changes in personell end of December. Either the new boss will be going or the old boss will be going or both. Either way, Y will hopefully either get promoted or they will find him another job in one of the many companies of his holding firm.
Y is still jobhunting and now he started seeing a coach. I hope that will help matters even more.
