Thanks girls :awink: but I've got a bit of an issue with the cake situation. As some of you may know, I am ALL ABOUT THE CAKE for birthdays so EVERY YEAR I go through the same thing. Dh is refusing to buy me the cake that I want (yes, I'm very very particular about what I want for my bday) because it's got transfat in it.

Yes, you heard me! I almost cried when we were at the grocery store yesterday ... I'm such a freak!

Other than that, so far an ok day. We just got back from Las Vegas (6 days) and dh bought me a new digital camera the week before so I could have it for the trip ... the cake thing seems minor to him but it's so not!!

Oh the cake drama!! :tease:

So we go out last night, and on our drive back home, dh said that we could get the cake that I want which was at Loblaws so we are coming up to a Supercentre/Superstore ... whatever they're called and dh says "this is owned by Loblaws" so I said ok.
We get the cake home and there on the base, it says "choc cake" and I said "uh oh". :sigh: I wanted white. So I said "that's ok, it'll be fine" so we dig in ... NOT real icing!! It was that edible oil product. DISGUSTING!!! I had a tiny sliver and that was that. (at least the vanilla ice cream was ok)

So this morning a coworker asks me if I had cake and I tell her about it and then she shows up at lunch time with the cake of my dreams!!!! It was beautiful!! It was white cake, double layered white icing with pink flowers on top. It was REAL icing and it was a great sugar rush for the middle of the day!!:bliss:
