Getting rid of bunnies.

We have wild bunnies living all around our town. Last year, some of them lived under a neighbour's deck, and used our backyard as a toilet. There was bunny poop EVERYWHERE. Does anyone know of anything we can do to try to keep this from happening again?

I can't vouch for it, but I remember reading somewhere that human hair (i.e., clippings from your local salon) will keep bunnies and deers and the like away from places.
