The OUALville Daily News was able to secure an interview with one of the vampires just before he/she went to sleep for the morning. Enjoy!

What do you like best about being a vampire?
The anonymity and late hours

What is your least favorite part?
Not being able to have garlic

When you find a victim, do you try to drag things out, or get a quick feed and move on?
It depends on the victim. I really don't want to see people suffer, but if they put up a fight, it's hard to avoid.

Do you find that OUALville is a nice place to live, er… be undead?
Most certainly. The people here are very friendly...and delicious!

Do you think there are people in OUALville who suspect you are a vampire?
:nocomment

Do you think you’ve posted anything that could be construed as a hint?
I'm not sure. Maybe. Maybe not.

Have you posted anything that would be considered a blatant lie about your vampire nature?
Not that I'm aware of.

Have you already planned who your next victim will be, or are you pretty spontaneous and just looking for the right opportunity to present itself?
No victim planned yet, but then again it is early in the morning. I have a few ideas though.

Do you think you will be caught?
I hope not. It's more fun this way. :)

Are your fellow vampires more or less likely to be caught than you are right now?
I think we're all doing a great job. We're working very well as a team, and I'm looking forward to more kills with my fellow vampires. Keep up the good work!

If you have any other questions for this vampire, either post them here or PM them to me and I'll see if I can get her/him to answer them.

Do the vampires have any non-vampire friends? I am wondering if they are able to separate business and pleasure, so to speak.

Question for the vampire:
Do you own a business in town?
Do you drink coffee or alcohol besides the obvious blood?

gulp!

Here's a question for the vampire:

we know you can't *eat* garlic, but can you handle it at all? Serve it? Touch it?

From the original vampire interviewed:

Yes, I have plenty of friends both vampire and commoner. I'm a member of OUALville just like anyone else.

And from one of the others, who wanted to help out with some of the questions:

I did have some garlic earlier.....but it was roasted garlic. :awink: Once it's cooked at a high enough temp, it's okay....it's just raw garlic that's foul. :dead:

As for the other questions -
- yes, we have other friends. We take care of our needs as they arise.
- some of us are business people, some of us are just regular, working stiffs.
- we enjoy all sorts of libations from a variety of sources.

I think that was all of them.

Another question for the vampire:

Crosses of any form. Can you be around them for limited time periods? Can you touch them for short time periods? If you are around them or touch them, what happens to you? Do you just start to sweat, get uncomfortable? Or something more?

From the vampire:
Sure we can be around them. I think it's become such an urban legend about vampires and crosses. I just don't go around wearing them around my neck. That doesn't mean I don't own a few--I just don't tend to flaunt it.

Is the rumor about mirrors true?

Another vampire answering Melissa's question:

About the mirrrors - I can see myself in a mirror. As for anyone else seeing me in a mirror, no one has ever told me they can't.

Questions for Vampire: How do you feel about George Bush? How do you feel about breast feeding? Formula feeding? Do you shop at discount stores, department stores, or gymboree? Answers to these will help me narrow the field down!

Answers from one of the vamps:
George Bush is just a man trying to do his job. I don't really know him, so don't have any further opinion.....like Paris Hilton.

Breast feeding or formula feeding - whatever the mom wants to do is the best choice for the baby. It's all good!

I buy stuff whereever I can find the best deal and the goods are what I want. No preferences. Sometimes it's the dollar store....sometimes it's a boutique.

No, kidding. Welcome to genericville!

You can't trust anything a stinkin vampire says, anyway.
