at the kitchen table?

Graham is almost 15 months ( :faint: ) and is fighting the highchair. I'm thinking about switching to a booster at the table. I have a little portable one I can use to strap onto the chair. It has a tray too, if I need to use it.

I think when Mason was 19 months old I started using it regularly.

We got rid of the high chair when we couldn't stand it taking up so much space anymore. I have no idea how old Anna was. :dunno: This time we have the space saver high chair from FP. It straps to a regular chair, but is more comfy than a booster, so I doubt we'll switch any time soon. The back of it does come off so it's more like a big kid booster, but we won't do that for a while.

We actually never had a highchair. We registered for one, but didn't get it at our shower. When Riley started solids, we just got a booster since we didn't have a lot of room at the townhome. So we just kept her in that the entire time.

As for J, we're currently feeding him in the bouncy as he can't sit up all that well yet, and then we'll put him in the booster. We have the FP one that straps onto the chair. And when Riley started eating with a plate, we just took the tray off and she ate off the table.

Caroline was about 18-20 months, I think. We had just moved and so to keep more room in our nice then-new kitchen, we decided to switch over to a booster that strapped on the regular chair.

Eliot & Ian were both around 15 months, we couldn't keep them in the highchair somehow they would work themselves out of the seatbelt and try to stand. The booster seem to have a tighter seatbelt so they couldn't get out of that one... our is also a portable one that can be attached to any chair which makes it nice for when we go visit family b/c our kids are the younger ones right now so no kid stuff in any of their houses.

Catherine was about 20 months when I switched her to a booster. I was sick of washing the fabric high chair cover that would get plastered with food at every meal because she'd grab the top/side and try to turn around. The booster is portable and very easy to wipe up.
