Welcome to my own little daycare, Little Ghouls and Gobblins. :) We're open for business starting tomorrow as I'm finishing up the odds and ends today. We're a small business with only this building as our property. This gives you and your child/children an opportunity for hands-on approach.
We're open 8am-6pm M-F, and closed on holidays. We offer a flexible payment plan and will work with any clients to find a payment option best for you. Discounts are available for those with more than one child.
Drop-ins welcome.:bliss:

I'll be your first customer. I have 3 boys, evil little things. I'm tired of dragging them around with me. What are your rates? Is there a volume discount?

Would the parents of your customers be interested in free blood tests? To know the type and Rh of their kids?
gulp!
October 2nd, 2006, 04:30 PM
Oh, thank goodness you've opened up this place! I'm tired of sending kids over to little woman in the woods. Yeah, sure, the kids love the candy on the outside of her house, but her accident record has been terrible. And her A/C is always broken.

Darcy, I would love for you to watch over my boy. I'm very busy these days. I just bought the estate of the late Frank Kozumello on the corner of Circus St and Orchid Lane (have you heard about his strange death a week ago?), and am in the processs of forming a partnership with Nichole's pie shop. If she agrees, she will run a coffee shop (StarDust Coffee) and I will concentrate on opening Home Spendings Store in our new mansion....you've seen it, I'm sure!

I'm interested in drop in care.
My son is being a devil today.

How much do you charge???
Darcy
October 2nd, 2006, 05:07 PM
Our flat rate is $30 a day. For more than two kids it's $40 or $50 for 3.
Seems like there are a lot of devilish children running around. Why not have them run around with us. :)
And Steph, I heard you were sending the kids to the old woman in the woods. I've heard she's really let that place go, only using stale candy.

Stale candy? :faint: Well, I might have to send my little hellions over to you for some running around. They've always wanted to meet some of the other OUALville kids.
Darcy
October 2nd, 2006, 05:13 PM
Sure, Sheila. Bring 'em on over. The more kids, the merrier. We only serve fresh candy at our place. :)

How young of a child will you take?
Darcy
October 2nd, 2006, 05:14 PM
They need to be 6 weeks old, Sandy. We could work out a payment plan with you, possibly for some food for my black cat in return to watch your kids.

My daughter likes to start fires. Are you trained in dealing with that sort of thing?
Darcy
October 2nd, 2006, 05:51 PM
 Yes. Our insurance is up-to-date.
She can't turn her head 360 degrees, though, right? If so, we may need you to tell her to stop doing that. We don't want the other kids to get any ideas.

Do you accept living dead girls like this?

The police academy said no even though I am the Chief!
Darcy
October 2nd, 2006, 06:03 PM
Sure, Becky. But I think she may do better with our aftercare program. There will be kids there who were once her age.
gulp!
October 2nd, 2006, 07:39 PM
How do you handle children who bite?
Darcy
October 2nd, 2006, 08:36 PM
With thick gloves.

Can I sign my daughter up? It's too hard to keep up the restaurant with her running around now.
Do I need to provide food for her or do you do that?
Bridget
October 2nd, 2006, 08:39 PM
She can't turn her head 360 degrees, though, right?
My husband says she can. I think she's just double jointed.

Would you have a drop-in spot available for a three-year old tomorrow? He's a little monster. Would your staff be able to handle that?
Darcy
October 2nd, 2006, 08:41 PM
Amy, bring her over. Maybe you could bring a little food to help offset my costs, especially since you're running a restaurant.
Silke, we specialize in terrors and devils (as well as ghouls and goblins). :) We'd be happy to watch your little monster.

Oooh just what I've been looking for! My kids can be little stinkers though and are pretty picky with what they eat. That won't be a problem, will it? :crossfing Oh and what's your rate for 4 kids?!
Darcy
October 2nd, 2006, 10:30 PM
I'm sure we could scrounge up something for those kids of yours to eat, Mandi. And for 4 kids, how does $66 sound? :awink:

I'll be dropping off Sarah once she's done her lunch. She'll be going down for a nap shortly, so you should have an easy time with her. I need the afternoon to train the new waitress.

I'm interested in having my son come over as well. :) Better break out the thick gloves for this one...... :errr:

Can you recomend a good baby-sitter for an evening? I would need someone from 6-9 tomorrow.
Darcy
October 3rd, 2006, 03:13 PM
Eva--you can most certainly preregister. You'll need to make a deposit to secure your spot.
I don't know of any baby-sitters off-hand. Stef was using a woman in the woods, but there were rumors about stale candy being used...
Michal
October 3rd, 2006, 03:35 PM
:nono: Stale Candy! I will definetly not be going to use her! Is she the one that lives in the gingerbread house I've seen while walking through the woods?
Darcy
October 3rd, 2006, 03:54 PM
 Yes. Apparently she's got some sort of dungeon that nobody knew about, but the police uncovered it not too long ago. They haven't arrested her as there haven't been any charges, but I wouldn't trust her.

HOw's the daycare going, Darcy? Do you need any sleeping/coloring/furniture supplies for your little ones? If so, let me know or stop by the Home Spendings Store at The Mansion. We can do a special order for you :)

Can I drop off my little darling in the morning? I hate to say she's been biting kids at her old place and she's about to be thrown out.
Darcy
October 3rd, 2006, 06:15 PM
Lena, I might have to stop by. We could always use more material to keep the little ones from getting into trouble.
Megan, sure you can bring her by. Does she draw blood when she bites? (Nice to see you again, BTW. :) )

I have my kids staying at the Inn at night, but I need them to be watched during the day while I sleep off the nightshift at the bar. Do you have room for them?
Darcy
October 3rd, 2006, 08:01 PM
Certainly. The more the merrier, Deb. :)

I will be by in the morning to drop off that deposit and to bring in my little critter. :)

I need care for my 2 daughters......they gypsies can't watch them anymore and even refunded my money. I am exploring a business partnership with AmyP over at the Family Restaurant.
My angels are sweet children.....really.

Pam, bring her over.
Megan, I'll make sure we have our first-aid kit available.
And AmyLynn, we'd be happy to watch your children. Just make sure they have an extra set of clothes. We've been doing a lot of creative projects lately.

Good morning Darcy. I'm looking for drop in care this morning. I was up all night. Could I drop my little devil off this morning for a couple of hours?
My shift at the hospital ends around noon.
Thanks.
Darcy
October 4th, 2006, 09:43 AM
Sure, Lynn. Today we're making crafts. We're cutting out paper to make paper deviled eggs. :)

Good Morning, Darcy!!
Here's little Damien.....if he gets naughty, just lock him in his box for a while for a time-out. :) I'll be back in a few hours.....
Thanks!

We're finally here! Here she is. She doesn't bite...much...but she does have a wicked scream.

Don't forget to take home your child's craft today when you come pick them up. We've been busy cutting, pasting, and coloring.

Wow. Little guy told me he had quite a wild day today. What was going on there at your establishment?
Thanks for watching him today. Hope he didn't give you any cooties.

Sorry to hear your help didn't arrive today. Do you ever take the kids out on field trips during the day?
Darcy
October 4th, 2006, 03:27 PM
Sorry Lynn, it was a little crazy here today. My helper didn't show. I hope Suzi and Hilary's deaths didn't scare her off. Maybe I should run an ad for another helper just in case.
And Sandy, we don't take the kids off the grounds without parental approval. We do have a little playground area out back, but there are fences so the little munchkins don't run off--or anyone takes off with a child without my knowledge.
Darcy
October 4th, 2006, 03:35 PM
Help wanted at the daycare. Must be tolerable of kids, obviously. A mix of creativity and patience is desired. As an incentive, free daycare provided for helper.
And for those with kids enrolled, field trips will be planned starting tomorrow. I will announce the location where we will be traveling to tomorrow morning....(hope that's a nice way to make sure I'm alive in the morning! )
