oh, dang....i just looked at the name of Nichole's shop and thought it was mainly pastries.... maybe I should think of something else to open up, eh? Nah! It will be fine. We serve coffee, mainly, and are located on another side of town, so this way, Nichole and I are able to better serve our customers-OUALville!!!

We have received an email about our building and when we moved in. Well, dear customers, we recently purchased this lovely estate after the unfortunate (and so mysterous) death of Frank Kozumello. Some of you have been asking where exactly it is located, and if any of you are familiar with Once Upon A Life Bar, which is run by Deb, we are literally 2 buildings down. Come by and visit!
gulp!
October 2nd, 2006, 04:12 PM
Welcome to our section of town, Lena! My Inn is just on the other side of the Bar- we have a great downtown area, perfect for all the tourists that come through here. My coffee maker is on the fritz (something chewed through the electical wire!), so would you mind sending over coffee service for my guests each morning? I like to offer up some fresh joe, and if you have an extra strong blend, that would be better- most of my guests are not from around these parts, and they seem to like stronger coffee.
Thanks!
gulp!

by the way, I remember poor Frank. Such a shame.

I would like a venti, cafe-mocha-vodka-valium-latte to go please! Make it quick, my brownie sundae is going to be ready in a moment.

October 2nd, 2006, 04:25 PM
Becky (stef, hang on, i have a customer, don't go anywhere, brb!), we love custom orders. Your venti contortion coffee will take about 4 minutes to make, but it's coming right up... it will be great with that brownie! May I recommend a Rum-flavored whipped cream on top of your coffee? It really makes the vodka flavor very smooth...

October 2nd, 2006, 04:27 PM
Stef, I know....Frank was such a good-natured soul, too! What have you heard about his death?
I love the building we are in! It's so spacious and very cozy at the same time. I love the huge pond our courtyard overlooks. I'm talking to Nichole right now about a possible partnership-we may mover her coffee shop in with mine, and if she agrees to oversee the coffee operations, I will be able to open a HOme&Beyond store very soon....we will feature Home gadgets, bedding, a line of deluxe strollers and baby gear. With as much tourism as there is in this part of town, do you think we will be in good demand?
Lyoshka
October 2nd, 2006, 04:28 PM
Stef, and I absolutely wouldn't mind sending coffee for your guests!! Just send me the log of what kinds of coffee you would like, and I will brew them for you and send them right over!

Lena, the sound of rum whipped cream sounds wonderful. Yes, please do add to my coffee order. I don't know why I'm bothering to drink coffee in this drunken town.

Becky, a coffee is a gourmet way to feel great!! Whether you need a coffee pick me up or a rum-vodka make-me-feel-good at 3 pm, I can do it!!!!
Here you go, dear (whipped cream coming right up, want to keep it cool):

Lena, Did Frank die at the estate? I didn't read about his death. Please share what you know!
Lyoshka
October 2nd, 2006, 10:45 PM
Joan, what I heard involved some very strange screeching sounds coming from the woods behind the estate... ppl said they saw a dark shadow flying by the lit up windows.. Of course, who knows, maybe it's just their imagination, but then again, maybe it's the vampires? Have you read the town paper about the vampire alert?
Apparently, his face had scratches and his eyes were bulging (at least from what I heard from his house keeper Josephina)...she woke up from the screams coming from the woods, the guard dog wouldn't stop howling and was hiding in the corner in the kitchen with it's tail between it's legs....

Oh! You have probably found my pet! You don't need to be scared of it, it just bites.
Could you put out some food to attract it. Raw meat would do. Let me know if muffin shows up
Lyoshka
October 2nd, 2006, 11:58 PM
Mama, hi! I don't know, man....Frank turned up dead. Maybe muffin nibbled at him after something else got him? I don't know. The dog at the house is a big dog, and he was scared for sure.
You got a pic of your muffin? I will set out some meat out for him tonight at the back gate which leads to the woods.

We now have a great variety of coffees brewing, so stop by the StarDust Coffee Shop on your lunch break or if you are heading home early today.

Shannan, why yes, i DO!!! I'm so busy with the Store and the Coffee Shop, any help I can get would be greatly appreciated!!! When are you available to start?
Shannan
October 4th, 2006, 04:17 PM
As soon as you need me too. Do you mind if I bring my monsters with me?
Lyoshka
October 4th, 2006, 04:24 PM
Bring them along! We have a great room right next to the Coffee Shop where they will be safe and secure.. I already have a `bunch of toys for my mischief in there :) the more, the merrier!
You can start right now, if you can. I need some help at the HOme Spendings Store.. We've been just swamped over there. I'm going to be away for a couple of hours, and I also need to put together the menu for our memorial service for HIlary that is happening tonight at 9 pm.

Eva, here you go, hon! Make sure you don't overdo the caffeine thing, with you being pregnant and all!
A pastry to go along with your cup of java :)

Actually, Shannan, if you could man the Coffee Shop, i can go market out Home Spendings Store a little.... and then run errands on the other side of town. You know the one where you can't drive to, can only walk? yeah...have to go over there for a couple of hours.

Just popping in to grab a quick coffee. I need to get myself ready for my shift and need a good hit of coffee before I do it. I had a horrible sleep. I kept tossing and turning with the image of Hilary's face on my mind. Still such a tragedy

Hey, Deb! I was in the back, doing some paperwork for the Home Spendings Store orders, and heard you come in. Shannan's my awesome help for the afternoon (and hopefully longer, if she'll have our Mansion world!), but I would LOVE to serve my friend a great strong coffee.... You know there is nothing better than having a European serving you fresh coffee-we know how to make GOOD coffee!
Here ya go, dearie:

I seem to keep smelling a wretched scent around the shop - moreso than just all my active creatures.
Do you have any cinnamon scented candles? I would like six "housewarming" sized ones, please.
Lyoshka
October 4th, 2006, 06:45 PM
Why, yes, of course, Sandy...
I will recommend this one in addition to the traditional cinnamon candles:
http://www.superwholesaler.com/wholesalers/superwholesaler/regular/30093.jpg It smells great, just a hint of apple.
This one is PURTY!:
http://www.cpsc.gov/cpscpub/prerel/prhtml04/04574.jpg
and here you go with the traditional ones:
http://i7.ebayimg.com/05/i/06/15/e7/b9_2.JPG
I'll have those wrapped up for you :)
Lyoshka
October 4th, 2006, 06:46 PM
You aren't keeping anything that's rotting around your shop now, do you, Sandy?
Shannan
October 4th, 2006, 07:31 PM
Lena, the kiddos are all fed...
Lyoshka
October 4th, 2006, 07:34 PM
shannon, you rock!!! Thank you!
Sandy
October 4th, 2006, 07:38 PM
Those candles are perfect! Heading over now to pick them up!!!
No, nothing I am keeping. Just a strange, acrid type of smell....

Look who I found! http://www.x-entertainment.com/articles/0855/o.jpg Shannan, it's Muffin, Begona's little furry pet... He's gone missing, and she's been looking for him. I will tie him up in the servers' quarters and let her know to come get him. He looks so exhausted. I just gave him some more food and water and he curled up right by the fireplace and is sound asleep...poor baby! On my way to find Begona.
Silke
October 4th, 2006, 07:46 PM
Has he gone missing again? I thought Amy found him earlier today.
Lyoshka
October 4th, 2006, 07:47 PM
oh really? hehhee well he must have run away again, 'cause he came by my back door!! must be because i've been leaving him raw meat there :)
mama
October 4th, 2006, 11:40 PM
Be carefull Lena. I think little Muffin may have been gone to breed. And it looks like the offspring could be evil.
Lyoshka
October 4th, 2006, 11:42 PM
Hey, he is all yours now. I'm glad you came by to pick him up!
mama
October 4th, 2006, 11:43 PM
I think it may be a good idea to get the town's vet to go over and check the furry cutie. Maybe he is just quasi-evil and you could adopt him. We can take them to the woods at night to play!
Lyoshka
October 5th, 2006, 02:17 AM
Well, I certainly have all kinds of room in the Mansion for him to live, that's for sure. So if you like, we could take him to the vet, have him checked out and if he is okay, he could stay here. Night play would be difficult for me, but if you could take care of that, I would be happy to have you both live here.... I heard you were new in town and were still looking for a decent place to live. What do you think?
mama
October 5th, 2006, 02:25 AM
Well, I found a place near the pie in the sky
http://www.mediaspec.com/castles/schwan/nschwan1.jpeg but the mortgage is high, so if you have a good deal I'll take a room and take your baby out for walks with his daddy. I enjoy going to the woods at night and sometimes even camping there

That's OK, Deb. No offense taken. I just had to pay my respects because I just saw her yesterday. And my poor little Riley is going to be so distraught that "Kita's mommy" is no longer with us. :blue: How do you explain that to a 2 year old?
Please let me know if there are any arrangements I can take care of.
