The OUALville Music Store is open Monday through Friday from 11a.m. (can't expect musicians to get up early!) until 5p.m. (8 hour work day? what is that?). We sell records, cassettes, CD's, DVDs of musicians, musical instruments, sheet music, and offer lessons.

I'll take a copy of the Buffy Musical soundtrack. Maybe if I sing it in my car it will scare the vampires away! (The question then would be whether it's my singing or the actual song that's scaring them!)

I'll take a copy of The Lost Boys Soundtrack, if you have it.

Come on now, you will be scaring away more than the vampires :lol2:

Oh Sheila, the memories! I had it hard for Jason Patric, and embarrasingly Corey Haim. DON'T TELL ANYONE!!! anyone see the interview with him when he was off his gord on coccaine, he was talking as if we could understand his gibberish, it was way better than anna nichole. Tony and I died with laughter when we saw it!

Well, I'm not sure you'd still have a thing for Corey Haim, Deb- here he is now:

I was going to ask for the DVD, but I guess this isn't a video store... Wouldn't mind looking at Jason Patric or young Keifer again.

He's not looking so hot now. Although, he still has the same eyes! I loved his eyes back in the day! Actually, I loved all of him!

Oh I was wondering if you have any recordings of tinkling piano music, kind of like Bill Murray demonstrated in Ghostbusters? He said ghosts hate it, so I was hoping to play it outside the doors to my shop. Figure if it's good enough for ghosts...

Melissa

Consider you orders filled. Tinkling piano music may work for ghosts, but I cannot guarantee it on Vampires. I also have the sound track to Interview with a Vampire. If you buy a guitar, the neck will shatter to a nice pointy wooden stake!

Oooh! That sounds cool! I'll send Franko over to pick up one of those tonight. I just can't get over the idea that something is missing from my shop (first those Dummy books and now the store room seems out of order). :dunno: Maybe it's just me but you can't be too careful!

Ah I loved Interview with a Vampire! Such an inspirational film!

Do you teach how to play requiems?

Melissa
October 2nd, 2006, 06:50 PM
Absolutely! Our piano teacher, the Count, loves classical music. He gives lessons nights only.

Do you do custom compositions?

Melissa
October 2nd, 2006, 07:15 PM
Silke, there is a deposit required for compositions, the last person who wanted one, Frank, died before it was completed. It should only take a few weeks depending on what you are looking for.

I was looking for an "Ode to the Sunshine"

AmyP

Hey Melissa, can I order a karaoke machine from you? Business is booming at the restaurant, but I think we need some entertainment!

I ordered one from Frank last week, but I never heard back about it. I guess we all know I won't be getting it now...

Melissa, do you have anything classical and light i could use in my StarDust Coffee shop? And then I also need something more battyish and ominous to play at certain parts of the day at the Home Spendings Store, since it's inside the Mansion?

Oh, and do you take the MansionVisa?

There will be TIGHT security for this event. All concert goers must go through a mirror detector (looks like a metal detector but made of mirrors). Anyone without a reflection will be shot on the spot. Ghosts are welcome to float in. Begins at noon and ends whenever the screaming starts.

Melissa, we would like to book you for a performance at the StarDust Coffee Shop when you have first availability. YOur posted was quite a conversation piece, and a lot of my regulars expressed interest in having a concert at the Shop. What do you think?

Melissa
October 4th, 2006, 08:17 AM
Why not bring the shop to the concert? We have plenty of space to sell your wares!

Another request before I pick up Bad Moon Rising. It is a newer song I just heard - The Fray's "How to stay alive." Have that one yet?
