So... what items do you keep in the shelves on the door of the freezer?
Since that is the part that can melt and refreeze more often due to all of the openings.

Right now, it's ice packs and a beer mug that you freeze. Trying to decide if bags of veggies should go there...

Ice bags, beer mugs and anything small that can get lost in the freezer with the big stuff.

Mostly ice packs, but also a couple of small bags of nuts (almonds, walnuts) and coffee.

Our current freezer isn't big enough to have shelves in the door. But our old freezer had ice packs and coffee. I don't know if I'd put veggies there.

I keep frozen lunches (Lean Cuisine, etc.) there because the shelves are precisely the size to hold 3 lunches per shelf.

It's a side-by-side so the shelves are tiny but it's full of ice packs and some of my mom's coffee for when she sits for us and can't stay awake .

Like Anne, we keep "Lean Cuisine" meals, frozen limonade, frozen burritos... like the one I'm about to eat :lick:

bottom shelf is full of glass beer mugs so they are "frosty" I don't have anything on the top shelves currently.

Frozen mugs, coffee (and more coffee) and whenever the frozen pancakes or waffles get low, they get stuck in the door.

coffee, boxes of frozen spinach, frozen herbs, frozen OJ & lemonade concentrates. If I have any chocolates to freeze, I hide them behind the spinach, since Chris would never look there :shuffle:

This freezer doesn't have stoage on the door but from what I remember of our old freezer we used to keep frozen lemonaide or Pina Colada mixes there and ice packs.

My freezer is even more of a disaster than my entire house, however on the door I have 4 cans of frozen concentrate juice, frosty mugs and my open bags of waffles and pancakes.

ice packs, some frozen veggies and frozen berries. Sometimes frozen bananas. I've never notice the veggies or berries thawing partially then refreezing. :dunno:

Well we've got two fridges. Inside it's ice packs and frozen veggies. Outside it's like frozen juice and not much else.
For some reason I've noticed the outside freezer door won't keep stuff frozen as well (even though we're not often in it) as opposed to the inside freezer and we're in it all the time. :dunno: The inside is a side-by-side and the outside has a top freezer, don't know if that maybe matters?
