When we were on vacation we took the kids to a place called the Fun Spot. This ride said kids 42 inches could go on it with their parents and 52 by themselves. Both kids really barely made the cut off but they let them go. (I really think their stick is off because Alyssa is only 40 or 41 by my measure here) Tylor is just 52 inches by the doctor a few weeks ago!

Dan pushed the bar down further on Alyssa and he before they took off. It was at her waste not her face!

Can you believe they loved it and would do it again and again and again if we would have let them!

We are absolutely a roller coaster family and we would LOVE to take a holiday of just touring parks and riding the newest coasters. :heee: Paul just likes to go fast....and isn't too keen on the spinning/loops. I'll take any of them happily.
We love to watch the NGC specials on the new coaster technology and it totally stinks that there just aren't any good parks around the PNW. :( There is one that's about an hour away....but it's more of a water park and the coaster in it is kinda lame. The next closest one is in Idaho (Silverwood). We even spent 2 days on our honeymoon riding coasters in Orlando.
Alex is stilll too small for most of those rides, but we're trying to get him conditioned now so he can join us later. :) He can go on the ferris wheel (with us) and he likes that.

LOVE roller coasters and we encourage our kids to go on them (well, not Isabelle yet...too short). I know that this isn't a roller coaster, but we even got Dugan to go on Tower of Terror at WDW last December. He was terrified up to the point of the drop and he even started to cry just a little during the drop, but then when it was over, he said it was sooo cool!

Total roller coaster family, minus Kaleb. He hates all rides, unless it's the ones that are the arcade type. Jacob rode the biggest roller coaster at Cedar Point 3 times when he was 8 and LOVED it! Riley prays all the time that she'll grow another inch so she can ride the good rides at Disney

Would you go on them? Nope, hate them with a violent passion.
Would you let your children go on them? Sure, if she's willing I'm not going to hold her back, but I will make DH go with her!
Do you like them??? Not even a little bit.

Would you go on them? Yes, unless there are a lot of loops
Would you let your children go on them? Sure, we have a number of years though.
Do you like them??? Yes, as long as there aren't too many loops and I haven't eaten recently. I have to take Dramamine

We should totally meet up with Jacob and Tylor at Cedar Point and we can ride and they can ride! Alyssa and Riley would probably love it but I want to ride too

Would you let your children go on them? When she's big enough, sure.
Do you like them??? LOVE THEM!!!!
I think she'll love roller coasters. She loves to be tossed around, turned upside down, etc. She's our crazy girl! DH and I love them too.

This past July we went to Pittsburgh and visited Kennywood. Katie was tall enough to ride a lot of things with an adult. The first two rides we went on she tolerated, it wasn't until the 3rd ride that she looked at me and said, "We're not going to fall out." I said, "No, we're not." From that point on she was FINE! I was shocked!
She went on adult rides (she loved the floom!), kids rides, etc...... We're going to Busch Gardens in a couple of weeks, I can't wait to see what she does there!

Yes, yes, yes :) I love them and so do the kids. My kids are tall for their age so have been on a few rides that they probably shouldn't :shuffle:

Would you go on them? Yes! again and again and again
Would you let your children go on them? Yes! As long as they met the height requirement and wanted to. My mom didn't allow me on a coaster until I was 9 no matter how much I begged, no matter how much my dad tried to override her. She created a monster...the faster and steeper, the better!
Do you like them??? Yes, I love them. If I win the powerball, I'm buying a big RV just to drive around the country and go on every roller coaster.
Even though my mom was a nervous nellie, I have always had a fascination with them, even when I wasn't allow. My dad worked for a roller coaster building company and Great America when I was a kid. I got to see them up close!

Yes!
Tony and I dream that when the kids are older we will go on a rollercoaster/themepark tour of the world! :heee:
We LOVE them, the faster, higher, darker, scarier they are the better! We went on space mountain at disneyland about 8 times in the one day (it was not a busy day there so the queue was only 10 minutes long) and 3 of those time were in a row! I think it is one of my favourites because of the "in the dark" factor I loved not being able to see which way we were going!
I hope the boys enjoy them as much as we do!

Yes, Shannon that would be fun! We'll get Deb to fly over and come with us. Then we can go check out coaster in her part of the world.
:secret: Let's leave the guys at home and make it a girls trip. We'll use paper plates and plastic martini glasses! NO DISHES!
