Well, here I am pregnant again. Has anyone else found that the symptoms were different the second time around? Last time even before I got a BFP, everything made me feel queasy, I craved carbs and ate them continually, was drop dead tired, ect.... This time, I feel the same as I did before I was pregnant only I am pregnant :D

Anyone else feel the same? Oh and is it any indicator of a change of gender, or is it just flukey how each pregnancy affects you?

I've felt almost exactly the same. It's very, very weird. Even the puking ended at almost the exact same time as with Madelynn.

I'm much more tired this time around though, probably because I can't sleep whenever I feel like it!

I'm worried about the sleep thing happening because you know how little we get, lol! I guess I should wait and see as I've still got a lot of time ahead of me. I just hope I don't get those awful dry heaves this time. Blech!!

Maybe, by a miracle, Ethan will start sleeping good for you! I hope!!

Sleep?? What is that?

My pregnancies were similar but when I was pregnant with Alexis I craved fruit in the beginning, with Anderson I craved sweets. I was tired with both!

My pregnancies have been very different. As you know, they've been for different genders. I'm even carrying very differently this time around.

My pregnancies have been pretty similar overall: routine.

But underneath that, there have been alot of differences... I had more m/s this time around (it got worse when I got less sleep), a completely different set of aversions/cravings (fewer this time on both counts), I have gained less weight, I am more comfortable, I swear I am carrying differently.

All of those differences helped make me think I was having a boy this time around... but I'm not!

This pregnancy has been very different for me. With Jordan, I was sick, really sick for more than the first 25 weeks, and lost a ton of weight. With this pregnancy, I never got sick, and if it wasn't for the growing belly and the internal kicks, I would have never thought I was pregnant. I was positive this little one was a girl, but nope, hes got extra parts, LOL

My first pregnancy was very easy in terms of morning sickness. I was queasy off and on for the first 15 weeks, but only threw up twice.

This pregnancy I was very sick the first 15 weeks and threw up more times than I could count. And, because of the total difference, I was convinced that the gender was different. And, I was right! I'm having a girl this time!

This pregnancy has been different. My BB's are not as sore as they were before and I have not puked as much.

I have different cravings and I seem to be carrying all over and not just out, like I did with Cameron. Also, I have had migraine headaches, which I never had with Cameron.

We will find out on Dec. 22nd what the sex is.

The only things the same with my two pregnancies are the m/s and the headaches. I don't feel nearly as tired with this pg as I did before, my bbs aren't sore, and this time (tmi) I'm having lots more cm.

We don't find out the sex until next week, so I don't know if it's a gender issue or if it's the fact that since I'm chasing a 13 month old around all day, I don't have time to notice the symptoms, if that makes sense.

This pregnancy has been different to my first. I have put on less weight this time around, but I have had more back pain this time.

I'm having a boy, last time I had a girl. I've put on a lot less weight this time, but I'm a lot more active with a 12 1/2 month old to take care of. For both, I got m/s more at the beginning of the 2nd tri. My bbs aren't sore this time either, other than at the very beginning-I was still nursing my daughter until 25 weeks along. This PG has gone by a lot faster I think. For both, I've had heartburn towards the end of the 2nd tri/beginning 3rd tri. I think I'm carrying different this time also.

This pregnancy has been totally different than my first one. Don't know what I'm having yet, but I suspect a boy. I was sooo sick this time around, for the first 14 weeks. I'm carrying very differently than with Emma, and I've gained a lot less weight.

However, my best friend had two identical pregnancies, and has one boy and one girl. It's all a mystery to me!

Just found out TODAY! Last time, I didn't really have any symptoms until I knew. But this time, I have been having crampiness ever since implantation. Plus, I've been queasy almost immediately. Last few days I have been really tired. I think it's weird that it happened so early! Should I worry?

I don't think there is any truth to the way pregnancy's go being an indication of gender.. or the way you carry.. or the what you crave, etc.. I think the only thing you can count on is that each pregnancy is at least a LITTLE different. For me... they've been really similar... Small differences are cravings... gaining less weight... less water retention (but my first was also born in the summer.. this one is winter)... more back problems (probably b/c everything was stretched out to begin with and now it's going again)... and a little m/s in the third trimester. I'm having another girl.

Good luck! I hope you have an easy uneventful pregnancy! :)

my pregnancy this time is completely different.
i had morning sickness...which i didn't have with aubry.
i've been much more tired.
i've had a HUGE appetite this time.
i'm starting to show a lot sooner this time.
it seems like everything i had last time is magnified this time. like the acne and back pain. ugh. everything has started sooner this time too...like i'm already having round ligament pain.
the only thing is that isn't worst this time is that my boobs aren't as sore.

my best friend has had two completely different pregnancies. the first she gained a lot of weight and was extremely sick...but this time she hasn't gained as much and she hasn't been sick at all. and she has two girls. so you never can be sure...as far as different pregnancies meaning different genders.
