What song(s) do / did you / DH sing to calm your babies? Is it an existing song or made-up song?

I sing "Rainbow Connection" (Kermit the Frog) or "Goodnight my Angel (Lullaby)" by Billy Joel.
DH sings Queensryche's Silent Lucidity and it gets her to calm down immediately :lol2: It's funny.

"You are My Sunshine". In fact we've sung it to him every single night since he was born. I often sang it to him in utero too.
He now sings it to us before bed. :) It's very sweet!

"My Favorite Things" from the Sound of Music.
Marcy, I'm cracking up at Queensryche. :lol2: DH sings "My Hometown" by Bruce Springsteen and "On the Cover of the Rolling Stone" by Dr. Hook and the Medicine Men.

Another "You Are My Sunshine" vote. In fact, Riley sings it to Jeremy, and says, "You make Mommy happy, when skies are gray." :love2: Too cute!

When my son was an infant he used to stop crying the minute he heard "twinkle twinkle little star". My daughter usually sang it to him. I've rocked him to sleep every night singing that song up until a few weeks ago when I tried "You are my Sunshine" and he loved that song so much that it's our new routine. He is 3 years old now and the words to that song just made him beam with pride, it was so adorable I had to sing it 3 times. Probably the pregnancy hormones but it brings tears to my eyes to sing it to him and watch his happy smile. He now tells me "mommy, I'm your sunshine boy!"
