I am a preschool teacher.
We are making aprons tomorrow in class. The aprons are already made so I guess I should say we are decorating aprons.
I need a cute saying or phrase to put on the front of the apron.

Ami, you could get foam stamps in the shapes of foods and stamp with fabric paint.
As far as sayings...
Mommy's Little Helper (or Daddy's Little Helper)

"Choppin' Broccoleh" (Adam Sandler) just came to mind! But I think only the parents would appreciate the humor of that.

This is cooking week so it should prtain to cooking. Good idea for art aprons though, Jen.
I was going to do handprints and the iron on decals that say mom's helping hands but too many of my kids were in a class that made oven mits with the same saying. I have that stuck on my mind so I can't think of anything else.

I like the "little helper" saying and then you could use foods as stamps. (we did this when I taught preschool)
Cut an apple in half and other fruits. Use carrots as paint brushes.

Oh, I like Official Cookie Taster! Then stamp some circles in light brown, and let them do fingertips in dark brown to make "chocolate chips" on the cookies!

Wow! I need to ask for ideas more often!
Thanks girls!
I ended up doing iron on transfers that say, Chef in training, the font was kid-like and the letters randomly capitalized and then we did sponge food related stamps and I outlined them in puffy paint. They came out really, really cute!

I like this idea a lot too. I know you're done with your thing, Ami, but I might do this one at home one day. Maia and I made our own aprons a long time ago, but I want new ones. Mine said "Maia's Little Helper."

I did take pics but with a polaroid camera so I could put them in the cookbooks I sent home. :blue: I should have taken a digital.
Guess you will just have to take my word for it when I say they were way cute!
