I need to survey people for another biology lab. This one is on dominant and recessive genes. I only need 15 replies. Thanks in advance.
Answer the following questions:
Is your ear lobe attached or unattached?
Can you roll your tongue (into a u-shape)?
Can you bend your thumb backwards in the top joint?
Do you have hair on any middle finger digit? (I'm guessing most of you don't :) )
When you clasp your hands (with interlocking fingers), which thumb is on top? (Yes, this again)
Bend your hands all the way back and count the tendons in each wrist. Does either one have 3 or do they both have 2?

PS: I find it much easier to find the tendons if you make a fist and bend it towards your arm. That's how I learned to check it in Grade 9. :)

Thanks everyone - I have enough responses.
All of the questions are just to see how many people have the dominant trait and how many have the recessive trait. For the tendons, 2 in both wrists is dominant and 3 is recessive. I don't know if it matters which way you do it - they have a diagram showing that you should bend your wrist backwards, keeping your hand open.

That's how I did it (with my fingers slightly curled, like an imitation of cat claws). If I do it by making a fist, I don't see any! :) I wonder who that tendon gene is inherited from, then...

#1. I hate knowing that most people have hairless middle fingers and I don't. :errr:
#2. I can't figure out my tendons for shit. Hairy middle finger people must be dumb.

Hair on the middle knuckle is dominant, and based on the replies as well, most people seem to have it.
