G'day What's your name? Peter
Where in the world are you? Australia
What do you do? Tadesman in heavy industry
How old are your children and what are their names?
16 year old boy, two girls, 5 and 7
Are you currently pregnant or Trying to Conceive (TTC)?
Hope not!!
Do you have any hobbies?
nope
How did you find OUAL? (what website or member or google search?)
gogle search, I'm looking for a game that girls play, I think it's called patter cake , when I punched it in to google I ended up here.
Is this site girls only? Anyhow this is my situ, my wife does all the hard work , all I have to do is play with the kids, the girls want to play a game, it's goes somthing like this ,.. two people face each other , sing some kind of nursery rhyme while clapping their own and each others hands, are there any rules to this game? What I need is some instructions, I hope it's not somthing you make up yourself, 'cause I'm about as handy as a blocked asshole when it comes to using my imagination. Thanks for your time

Well I can see by your expressive talk you are most definatley Aussie! :heee:
Hi from a fellow Aussie :wavey:
I think I know what game you are talking about, I remember playing it as a girl but the rhyme is escaping my brain at the moment. I don't think it's patty cake they want to play that is more of a baby thing. I think it's where you hit each hand from top to bottom in oppossing directions twice then hit them front on inbetween.. (if that makes sense) let me think about the rhyme for a minute and I will see if I can remember it.
by the way, there are a few men on this site, so no it's not woman only :awink:
ETA: Okay I am remembering the first line being something like
Miss Mary Mack, all dressed in black
(maybe someone else can remember  )

Okay I found a really good website that has all the different type of clapping games girls (and boys) play, it is in Aussie site so your girls will know them, it has little video footage of it showing you how to do it!

Ya really pulled me out of it, thanks for that, MrsPeacefrog (member.php?u=917) it's exactly what I was looking for! The girls in the clip are a bit older than mine, I'm not sure why but that seemed to impress them, ..... we've been at it for about an hour, hard to believe a 50 year old rock ape would get so much enjoyment from it,........ last time I played a slapping game was on the footy field, actually more tapping than slapping LOL. ..Can't find spell check so sorry if the spellings a bit wonky, Cheers Peter,

You know whats's more scary than a group of women,... purple girls! I know this might sound strange, but i always think of my children as colours, the boy is white , and the girls are red and purple, purple girls are heaps of fun , but very scary!!! cheers Peter
