I think this is a stupid question, but here goes: We're taking a trip to CO, so two time zones away. DH and I will adjust, but will the baby? Or will she continue to sleep / eat on her EST schedule? This is just a long weekend trip, so it's not like we need to switch her internal timezone for a long period of time.

Whenever I travel across timezones, my kids (especially when babies) would just keep their current schedule if we were only there for a few days. If we were there a week or more, they'd slowly start to adjust to the new times.

Alyssa and I traveled to CO in September and we just stayed on EST time zone the whole time we were gone. It was just easier. We were there about 5 days.

When we travel with the kids, we try to keep them on their normal schedule. If it's a longer trip, they tend to drift to the new time bit, but on short trips it works out fine.
