My daughter Cora is 6 months old and last night when I got home from work she puked up her lunch. Later last night I fed her dinner and she puked it up before she finished eating it all. She is still smiling and kicking her legs and doesn't have a fever. She ate a bottle at 2:30 a.m. This morning I tried to feed her cereal and she puked it all up again. I called the dr and they said just to thin out her bottle and feed her just a few bites at a time. When I got home tonight she puked again. Again, she's still smiling but now doesn't want anything to do with her bottle. I got some Pedialite in her but I don't know what else to do. Any suggestions?:dunno:

Maybe she's teething. Although if she is smiling and happy, that's probably not it. Of course every child is different, so that might just be how she's reacting.

Another thought would be to take her off solids for a few days and see if she'll just take bottles until her tummy settles. If she doesn't want anything to do with her bottle, I wouldn't push it.

These are just my thoughts. Maybe some more experienced moms might have some other ideas!

When Kaitlyn was an infant... she went through stages where she would throw up alot, yet still be a happy baby. Come to find out - she was teething, and rather than drooling, she would swallow all the extra saliva that comes with teething. Then, once we fed her or gave her a bottle - her tummy would be too full and she would throw up shortly after eating/drinking.
