A Tea Party...........

My daughter is wanting her next birthday to be a tea party. I think this will be a sweet idea however I have one question. The friends she has that are boys will just not appreciate this at all. What do I do about the boys of the group?? Do I forget the tea party theme or do we do it anyhow??

you can still do it!!! Trust me they will love it.

Alyssa's school does a theater day and the boys get their dad's dress clothes and hats and such and they all dress up. The girls all dress up in fancy dresses and gloves. They all have a great time and the boys like it as much as the girls so if you did something along those lines the boys could be included. Then you can still have the tea party stuff. They all like food so you can do mini donuts or fun things that all kids like. I think it is a great idea!

One of Addison's friends had a tea party birthday party. There weren't any boys there but there could have been... they would have had fun too. First the kids decorated big straw hats and then put on gloves and dressy clothes. They had tiny sandwiches and fruit and got to pour their own "tea" (juice). The mom had little cookies in the shape of teapots along with the cake. They played some other games too that I don't think had anything to do with "tea party".
