So right now my son is having his birthday party. He is 11. He has 10 kids here and they are driving me insane. 3 showed up at 6 (time the party started) 1 showed up at 6:45 (had some thing to do) 4 showed up at 8:45 after their baseball game and one is showing up in about 45 minutes (he went to the Cleveland indians game..

Now it gets better.

One is leaving at 12 because he is afraid to spend the night anywhere

One is leaving at 12:30 because he has a baseball game tomorrow morning (I don't believe it but that is a whole other thread)

The rest will leave tomorrow around 10.

They were supposed to be outside in a tent but it rained and so they are inside. They have played playstation..I sent them outside for basketball in the break of the rain. I sent them back out for flashlight tag. THey have had Pizza, Chips, Popcorn, and 35 juice boxes :wow: They are lowed and I have them watching starwars. I just turned around and one of the kids was standing on anothers back trying to crack it. They are so loud it is unreal and Dan heard one of them tell a lesbian joke :woa:

I think from now on I will really down these slumber parties. I can't believe how loud these guys are and I think that while Tylor likes these kids he really likes a just a small few of them and we are going back to that.

I feel for you, Jayne. A friend of mine has done slumber parties for the last two years.....kids get no sleep...she gets no sleep. Everytime I picked up Natascha in the morning, she'd crash at home for hours.

Have a beer or something to survive this.

Good-luck Jayne! Are boys better or worse than girls at slumber parties?

Tell me about it Lisa..it is hard to believe he is 11 years old. Not sure where my baby went

Well at 1am Dan made them turn the Games off and stay inside for the night. He came up to bed and I turned the baby monitor on to make sure they went to sleep  SPY on my kid...HECK YA! At 1:30 it was completely quiet and Dan and I crashed. I set my alarm for 7 am and they were still asleep :jump: So I then set it for 8. I was woke up by the front door opening..Thank goodness I slept in my close. Turns out they were going out to play basketball. I don't mind but I so didn't want them up that early plus Tylor knows better then to go outside without telling me (wouldn't you know he was still inside playing playstation  ) THey are eating donuts now and they get picked up at 8. I am going to need a nap.

Holy moly Jayne! I think 10 kids on a sleepover is about 7 too many! You are a brave woman!

This is why my older two always had parties out at a restaurant or bowling alley, etc. around that age. ;) I much prefer regular sleep overs with only one or two kids at a time than a party of kids. I only do as much as I can handle. :)
