I was looking through some of my old stuff my mom brought over to my house and I found some old letters from a pen pal I had in Ohio from 1992-1997, roughly. We lost touch shortly after that and she was talking about moving and I've always wondered what happened to her. Well, I did a search on www.zabasearch.com and found her. It has her name and the month and year she was born. She's still in Ohio, about 45 minutes from her hometown.
I have always missed talking to her and thought about writing her a letter. Would you write her if you were me? I know online searches aren't 100% accurate (the same search lists me under my maiden name as living with my older brother, but he'd obviously give me something addressed to my name at his house if it was important). I'm thinking about writing a short letter, just enough to tell her who I am but not give too much information and risk it not being her. I figure if the letter is returned to sender or if she doesn't write back, I'll at least know I tried.
What would you do?
