What was your prom theme song?

I graduated from HS in 1987.
Our senior class song was "Born to be Wild."
Our prom song was "Time to Remember" (Billy Joel).

I graduated in 1997. Our class song was "1979" by Green Day.... We didn't have a 'prom' song.

Our prom song was "Time to Remember" (Billy Joel)- so was ours, I graduated in 1994. We didn't have a class song.

However, I graduated college in 1999, which was when the "Wear Sunscreen" came out. It started out as "To the graduates of 1999."

Somehow the administration didn't think that was acceptable and decided to change it for us to Don Henley's The End of the Innocence.

We didn't have class songs but I remember everyone holding hands in a circle singing "You've got a Friend" at the end of school (this was in 1983, where's my walking frame? :lol: )

I don't remember our prom song or theme for my senior year but I remember the theme for my junior prom was "The Secret Garden." Dorky, but pretty decorations.

I graduated in 1987 - our class song was "Greatest Love Of All". I can't remember the theme of our prom.

I graduated in 1995 and our class voted to have "Freebird" as our class song, however, the administration didn't think it was a good choice, so we had to re-vote and it ended up being "Don't Cry" by Guns'n'Roses. Prom - eh, don't remember. I only spent 15 minutes there :blush1:

On a related note, how big was your graduating class? My class was only 154 people. And yes, Freebird fit us :nod:

Our class size was around 250.

(If I'd stayed in South Dakota to graduate, my class size would have been 38. :lol: )

I graduated in 1995. Our class song started out as the Cheers theme song. :lol: Cheesy to have a tv show theme song, I guess, but the words fit. :) Then we decided to change it because of a school tradition. We changed it to Through the Years.

I don't remember the prom's theme, but I remember the theme of the after-prom party. It was something like "Everyone gets lei'd." :lol: Incidentally, our prom was on Cinco de Mayo... eleven years ago today. Aww. :lol:

Our graduating class had 231 in it... all girls.

We didn't have a prom song, we had to put together our own prom because our school admins said they wouldn't sponsor if we did senior ditch day. Needless to say, we ditched and planned our own prom!

I graduated with 35 people in my class.

I think our graduating class had somewhere in the area of 225. Or maybe it was 325. :dunno:
